Johnny watched as the nurse departed again, with promises of returning with soon. He looked back at Jonah, offering a small smile and trying to be comforting. "He's probably going to get you crutches." That or a wheelchair, but the first was more likely. "Have you ever used them before? They can be awfully tricky." Last time he was on crutches, he had almost ended up breaking his other leg too. But you probably also aren't supposed to ride horses with them.

Jonah looked at Johnny and then watched as the male nurse left the room for awhile. He shook himself slightly then returned focus to Johnny, seeing the beautiful small smile. He returned the smile and snuggled into his shoulder, breathing in the scent of the other boy. He murmured into his shirt "Fine. Yes, good." He refused to move from the position which he had now put himself in. He shook slightly and then managed to calm himself a little bit.

Johnny was slightly surprised when the other boy snuggled into him, but he didn't complain. Instead wrapping his arm around the smaller boy, lightly kissing his temple as he gave him what he hoped was a comforting squeeze. "Shh, it's alright. They aren't going to be touching your leg anymore," he murmured, feeling the other boy shake against him. It was a few minutes later when someone returned with crutches, leaving them with Johnny before quickly departing to apparently give he and Jonah a moment alone.
