The two brothers rode home in silence. They walked into the house, and walked over to Colson. They both had a black eye, and a busted lip.

he looked up as the boys walked in and over to him. he shook his head and sighed softly. "What did you two do? Never mind. I need to tell you boys something. It's about Jezzel."

He took in a deep breath then let it out. He said "She has a problem with her lungs, and a heart irregularity. The doctor said she will live to her forties or fifties. But that is only without too much excitement or such. Which means you guys have to be on your best behavior from now on. Any more of that can lower her life expectancy."

I trembled slightly and looked up at my gelding as he nuzzled me gently. I said "Hi boy. What is wrong with me? I know something isn't right, but what is it?" I sighed as I got on him bareback and rode off away from the barn.
Colson
He could feel a major headache coming on as the boys started fighting once again. "This is exactly what I am talking about." He whipped out the paper. "You don't believe me Tesshin? Take a look at this." he growled softly, and walked to a window. He saw Jezzel and Echo. "What is she doing?!" For it seemed like she was figuring on doing something that could harm her.

He growled again and looked back at the boys. "Whatever. If you want her to die young, then go ahead and keep fighting." he hissed. "I won't stop you. But it will be on your shoulders." With that he left the house and ran to find the girl. He sighed and then heard a familiar whinny. His stallion Zanzibar had returned. He got on the horse and went to find the girl, as the wind picked up. The test results from the hospital were still where the boys could see them.

The man drove Zanzibar to go faster. But the stallion was not having any good vibes about this. He snorted and shook his head. Colson sighed softly and allowed Zanzi to walk back home.
