He launched himself and the Fawn perked it's ears, running off at full speed only to fall. Mikasi caught the Fawn, ending its life cleanly and painlessly. He dragged its limp carcass over to River and looked at her with bright and gleaming eyes.

He thought then smiled lightly once he realized that he is now the Alpha. "Did I make a good catch?" Mikasi asked to River, his eyes shinned and tail wagged furiously behind him with pride.
