Promise watched closely as the rock burst into ashes then soon looking back at the brute,"I can tell it's quite strong." She said as she wrapped her tail around her body tightly. "You could do some damage with that. Does it take a lot of effort?" She felt a bit out of line for keeping Septimus away for this long, knowing that he might want to get back soon although at the same time she enjoyed the company. "You don't have to stay if you don't want to." Promise added after a moment, hoping she wasn't disturbing him or keeping him away.

Calvin only watched her quietly, he didn't quite believe her seeing the way she was acting earlier but he didn't say anything. "Well if anything is wrong you can tell me." he smiled before playfully pawing at Skades ear. He was always a very happy wolf and didn't really like to see others sad so he tried to do what ever he could to help others.

Donnar couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Don't worry, I hear mud is great for your skin!" He grinned as he flopped down in the mud with her.

Skades smiled lightly, genuinely this time. "I know I can, Cal." She said as she quickly ducked to avoid his swipe, lunging for his belly. The fae tackled him over and pinned him to the ground. "You sure you want to pick a fight with me?" She growled teasingly.

Calvin returned the playful growl,"Well why not?" He growled once more before squirming out of Skades tough grip. His tail wagged as he returned the female's tackle.

Promise gave a light nod,"We most likely should hear back I guess." She said before shaking her dark fluffy pelt once more to get the last of the water. She had enjoyed the time spent with Septimus and it was nice to get away from the pack for the moment, she felt a bit self conscious about the whole thing as she did with most things. It was itching in her mind as well as why she felt so self conscious over something so small but she tried to shrug it off as she began to walk back towards the back.

Uru sighed, "I've made a foul out of myself haven't I? It's just, water makes me uncomfortable. You know, being a fire element and all... water and I disagree sometimes..."

Donnar frowned, standing and shaking the mud from his fur. "You haven't made a fool of yourself," He frowned, ears going bad sadly. "I was only playing..."

"Because I'll destroy you!" Skades laughed, shoving Calvin off with her hind legs. She quickly rolled back over, getting to her paws and waiting for his next attack.

"No" she said sharply. She put he paw under his jaw and pushed it up so that he was looking at her. "I will not allow you to be sad! There is so much joy all around you just waiting for you to see it. My father once told me don't waste your days blinded by sadness and anger. When you let it go, your heart is open to experience the magic of the world. One day you will need the magic of the world, remember this when you do.Though I haven't yet figured out what he meant, I understand what he was trying to say." She hit the top of his head a little hard with her other paw. Then she gave him a rather stern look and waved a claw at him, saying "Now don't be sad anymore, OK?!"

Calvin growled as he nipped Skades shoulder before leaping back with a bark as he wagged his tail. Dropping his chest down and spreading out his front paws,"I don't completely doubt you." he laughed as he swiftly jumped from side to side.

Promise's ears perked as the brute still panted and his ears flicked back,"Are you alright?" She asked lowly with concern in her tone and eyes.

"Y-yes ma'am!" Donnar nodded, saluting with his paw.

Skades noticed Septimus as he came back. He looked downtrodden. "Hold on..." She said to Calvin, glancing at him before going over to check on her leader.

Promise stopped as Septimus only nodded an pulled himself in his den to lay down. She was a bit worried that he had maybe over done it or if she had done something to upset him. With a light sigh she walked over to her usual shaded tree and laid down.

Calvin only gave a quiet nod as he watched her go to check on the alpha, wondering what was wrong.
