Layla ran to her old den and walked in.''where do you want to sleep?''she asked.

"I'll stand guard, just in case." Jake barked, taking place at the entrance, his eyes squinted against the snow that had started coming down in heavier flurries.

''no please come in here and sleep we need the rest.'' Layla nudged him into the den then she lay down in her nest thing made out of elk hide. ''don't worry my den is really covered up and blends in with the snow''. she said.

Sarge smiled a walked into the den he padded to the back corner and curled up in a tight ball

Alask said, " So, where did you come from Nephilim?"

Layla walked to her bed thing made out of elk skin and hay ,and lay down.she curled up with her tail by her head and drifted to sleep.

Jake looked back at Sarge and Layla, and then sat down at the entrance glaring out at the now heavy snow.

Laylas fur coat sparkled in the den,her eyes shut ,her ears back ,sleeping.
