"To be fair, Aster, anyone in this pack could be like that at any point," Pluto sighed, slightly frustrated with both. "But please do not take me for a fool on this, you two; I know both of you are hiding something about him. There's no way both of you could be on opposite ends in this loner's case just for the sake of being such. I cannot be expected to make a legitimate choice of what to do with him unless I know what's all happened..." He paused a moment, then added "I can tell he isn't totally normal, but I can't be certain with whether or not he would be a liability to us."
Nyx decided to check out Cain's wound. Cain snapped at her for the attempt and she gasped in surprise.
"Okay, I guess I deserve that," Nyx said after calming down, then made another attempt to tend to him. "It's just that... well, we're admittedly always like this to outsiders; we can never tell immediately if they mean to help or harm us."
"Well, I have no intention to harm," Cain huffed, trying to stop Nyx from touching his wound. Not if it means hurting Lunaris... Cain thought, looking rather pained at the thought.
"You know, I can't see how the wound is if you keep squirming. I'm not Aster." She sighed, then noticed his expression. "Are you okay?" Cain said nothing, but let her tend to the wound. Upon looking she gasped again.
"Wow..." she said, "it's totally healed already... but there's still the scar, and there's no way you'll be able to see in that eye.
"Yeah..." Cain muttered. Nyx frowned a bit, then bowed in apology before walking off.
