Looking at the ground, Faolan moved towards her and gently nuzzled her chest before pointing towards a small clump of bushes behind their den. He could feel that his ear tips were blushing bright pink but he couldn't back down now.

Rune saw the bushes and nodded. She stood up, blushing madly and galloped over there, excited. She waited for Faolen to join her.

Faolan got up more unwillingly, he really wanted a family but he felt so uncertain and for once, he felt scared. He slowly padded over to join Rune, he turned to check that no wolves saw them before disappearing into the bushes after Rune.

A while later Faolan appeared from within the bushes, his eyes were clouded and he looked like he was dreaming, he slowly padded away from the bushes and lay with his belly up next to the stream, he watched as the clouds drifted by, he stretched out his back legs and watched as he dipped his wing tips into the water, making beautiful ripples appear on the water surface. He didn't feel scared anymore, all his worries were gone and he felt so relaxed. Life was now perfect, nothing could make it better...

Rune soon followed. She was excited yet scared. She'd have to carry these pups!

Faolan looked adoringly at his mate, he gently pawed at her stomach rubbing his nose into her soft belly fur. He would never understand some things that faes go through but he knew that his duty was to love and care for his mate and the tiny lives that will soon be growing within her.

Rune smiled. She curled up, letting Faolen keep his nose where it is.

Faolan blinked gratefully at his mate. Before now, he had rarely thought above things like mates, pups and families, now he could not think about anything else. He felt like it was just him and Rune in the whole world.

Rune smiled. She looked at the clear water with swim swimming by. She playfully pawed at the water, giggling.
