{Well, nobody seems to be starting so Im gonna risk my leg and do the first post...

I take another tentative step forward, pressing the soft mossy grass down with my paw. Avry's ears are just visible over the shrub on the other side of the clearing. She is watching carefully, learning the skills she will need for when she is older.I crouch lower, pressing my body against the small stones that dot the ground. The trio of rabbits twitch their ears nervously as I make my silent way forward. The world falls silent, its just me and the largest rabbit now. I tense, preparing to spring. I jump, bounding with cat-like elegance over the last few meters of distance to pounce on the white hare. It shreiks in freight and kicks out, but I am too close and my powerful jaws close around its neck, killing it quickly. Avry yips and bounds over, with a playful puppy smile on her lips. She has always enjoyed watching me hunt...

I yip excitedly, enjoying watching my mother hunt. It is interesting, but easy to learn. All you have to do is crouch down and get up close before killing the prey. I am much more interested in fighting. I find it much more enjoyable to look into an enemies eyes and growl at them, knowing that you will win. Still, my life is ahead if me and who knows what is going to happen to me, the pack or the world. I turn around to see mother padding away, heading back to pack grounds. I yip again, and follow, tumbling over my too-big paws. I stop to munch on some hard berries occasionally, but otherwise, we continue to walk back to the pack.

The branch underfoot creaks slightly, letting me know that it is unable to hold my weight. I glance around, noting a few other options. I choose another branch and leap over to it, landing with my claws digging into the soft and damp bark. Underneath the leafy canopy, the mice squeak as they catch my scent and the birds twitter as they try to protect their young, but I am not interested in them. What I seek is something much more beautiful, just to watch it for a few moments longer than the fleeting glance I had caught before. The colorful creature comes into view, fluttering over by a small clump of tree flowers. "I have wings but I'm not a bird,I am small and colorful,I live in gardens and fields and forests,I am a butterfly" I say, enjoying my own riddles...

The sun peeks through the branches overhead, bringing light into the healers den. Luckily, nobody but me is here to see the sunlight dancing through the shadows. We were lucky this year, with only minor injuries so far and no pups or kits being born yet. The healers den was quite, most of the healers didn't come unless someone was hurt or I needed help. At this moment in time though, I was happy to be lying in the sunlight just inside the cave, happy at the peaceful world. A flock of swallows twitter over head, the smell of the flowers drifted on the slow breeze and the gurgling of the stream added to the calming din to be heard. All was at peace this morning...
