*Barking Mad* Wolf/Canine Rp (Open To All)

Byden snifed the ground. He pawed at it, smelling the dirt. Someone was here. He raised his tail in alertness, and looked around. He didnt see anyone, but he sniffed the air and smelt them. There were two! Growling to himself, he tried to follow the scent. He was lead to one of his more favorite spots. Still sniffing, he could tell one was a female, almost ready for birth, and one was a younger male, but couldnt tell how old they were. "Show yourselves," he said with dominance.

Sunny stiffened as footsteps appeared, it's another wolf (Kia). The female glanced around hurriedly for a hiding spot, finally squeezing into a small cap under a tree which was slightly uprooted. Her eyes were huge, she couldn't take on a wolf when she was so close to labor! That doesn't mean she won't fight, she was just bound to lose; the yellowish wolf huddled under the tree, ready to smack or bite anything that came in through that gap.

Kia, being upwind of Sunny, couldn't scent the pregnant wolf hiding among the earthy roots. Suddenly jerking to stop he looked around, scenting rabbit. When he caught sight of the fat mammal, which happened to be just right next to the tree which Sunny was sheltering, he got into a crouch. Curse my red stripes, He thought to himself as he stalked the rabbit, getting closer and closer.

Sunny flincehd at the voice and at the wolf (Kia), being so close. She glanced around before noticing a tiny exit behind her, she turned, silently pawwing at it, the female pushed her head in, her shoulders didn't fit. She kept digging before she squeezed through it, her stomach wouldn't fit, no matter what she did. The pregnant wolf didn't give up and kept her yellow paws to dig through the dirt that kept her from her escape.

Byden heard the silent digging. He turned to the source of the sound and peered under the uprooted tree. Seeing just a pregnant belly and a haunch, he shook his head slightly. Watching her dig at the ground, he cocked his head. "Miss," he said softly to show no harm would come to her, "exactly what are you doing here..?" He usually came to this spot to meditate, and it was strange to see another wolf here.

Sunny jumped at the voice, spinning around and backing into the tree roots, her upper lip curled back, "Trying to survive" She growled at his question, her fur bristling to show that she would fight to the death. She glanced at her hole, which she had just gotton big enough, her ears were pinned on her head as she wondered if she should make a break for it, the she-wolf decided not to take the chance and kept her ground, her body shuddered as one of the pups kicked against her swollen, obviously thin, stomach.

The rabbit scrambled away at the digging sound and Kia growled in frustration. He then went around the tree to find out what had made him lose a perfectly good rabbit. Surprised to see the front half of a yellowish roundish she-wolf and a dumbfounded other male, he sat down to sort out the event in his mind. When he scented fear and birth, his instinct kicked in and he tentatively scraped at the earth under Sunny to save the laboring future mother.

Hearing her growl, he dropped his tail a little. He nodded quickly, not taking his eyes off of her. Digging his claws into the dirt, holding his ground, he could smell the fear pouring off of her, he didn't like it. "Understandable. But you are in our territory,' he said, his eyes never leaving hers. "The leader must know you're here." He howled oudly, calling his leader towards them.

Sunny backed against the roots, her eyes huge in fear and anger, she turned and squeezed through the hole, taking off despite the pain in her stomach when she ran, she was slower than before but she was still fast enough to escape from situations, she didn't turn around but ran straight to where she had found the border, they wouldn't chase her past... Right? If they did she would just fight or lead them into the other pack's territory, it wasn't too far away.

Sighing to himself, he sniffed where she was just moments ago. He could tell she was heavy with pups without needing to smell, but smelling told him just how long it would be before her pups came. Letting out another howl, he looked around and spotted Kia. "What are you doing so far out here," he asked, a small chuckle in his voice. He coulsn't get the she-wolf out of his mind. He wanted to help, but how could he help a wolf who didn't want it. Sniffing the air, he noticed where she was going. She was going towards dangerous land. His eyes widened, and he trotted in the direction she had went. "Kia, come with me."

Cadyn's ears pricked at the howl and he looked toward that direction before lifting his muzzle to howl back a reply. It was more of a 'Be there in a few" sound as he finished leading the pup and Lillian to Aniue. "I must answer that but I'll be back very soon. Please help yourself to the meat that was caught just today and then feel free to head back to the den" he murmured before turning and racing at full speed towards (Byden right?) the howl. He was a black blur as he took advantage of his long stride and the firm earth beneath him, using his claws to propel him even faster.

(Yes ^^) Hearing the alpha espond to jis howl, he slowed down and waited. He couldn't help but think of the trouble the Fae could be getting into. He knew exactly what was out there, and it was not good. Hearing his leader approach, he sat down and waited patiently. It wouldn't take him long to get there, then he could tell about the female.
