Dept's eyes were wild with fear. "Not for me it isnt" and that was all he said as he seperated himself from the siblings and curled up into a tight ball at the far corner of the den. As he lay down Dept's fur bristled and his skin was revealed for the first time. Little did Dept know, was that now his fur had shifted his ugly, mangled scars were revealed. The worst was one that his farther had inflicted on him. It ran from his shoulders and ended at the bottom of his back.

Ennui and Entropy
Ennui is Male and Entropy is Female / Rouges / Rouge Den /

Obviously concerned, the twins glance towards each other for a brief moment as though reassuring one another. This is one of those rare cases where their expressions do not mirror one another though, as Ennui appears more curious, with his ears tipped forward and head tilted just slightly, as though trying to fathom just what could have happened in Dept's past to have caused such physical and emotional scarring. Entropy however, seems horrified, and their is pity in her eyes as though she can physically feel his pain. Ears back, and tail held close behind her, she creeps closer to Dept, and reaches out to gently lick his forehead. Behind her, Ennui lays back down on the ground, not wanting to overwhelm him by pressing in next to his sister. Remarkably enough, they are both smart enough not to press into the subject. They do not ask what had happened or pry into his past. They simply offer the comfort of companionship.

Ok, I think we're gonna skip forward. I'm gonna let rebellion know since they haven't posted in the last few pages, you guys can feel free to start up after the skip. It's been roughly a week))

Dept stiffened slightly as Entropy licked his head, he could tell by the change in their body language that his many scars had been revealed. "My farther gave me those" he said as his unblinking red eyes just stared into the bushes. Dept knew that soon we would have to come clean and face the facts on the abbuse, but not just yet, he just wasnt ready.

Ennui and Entropy both seem a little shocked by Dept's admission, and they look at him with worried eyes. Since their mother died when they were born, and they never knew their father, they have often wondered what it would be like to have parents. Having been raised by the pack, they are of course ruthless when it comes to defending it and have been more than happy to kill intruders, but the thought that someone as close to you as a father could cause such pain and injury baffles them. They themselves are fiercely loyal and would never willingly bring violence upon another pack member, quite simply, they care too much for them. Really though, they can have no real grasp of what he has been through, and all they can offer is compassion an sympathy. With this in mind, Entropy sinks to the ground next to him, not quite touching him, but close enough to be of comfort to him if he can accept that. Outside, the bluster of the storm is coming to an end, and it is only gentle rain that now falls in Rouge territory.

Dept didnt react at all. Instaed he continued to lay there, watching the rain that was the after math of the storm. He blinked back tears and all his fears and out on a brave face.
