It took some searching, but wind finally found the leaves and twigs he used as splints. He grabbed all of them he could carry and began applying them to the wolves who needed it. There were plenty of breaks and injuries to be healed today.

Dawn smiles and leans on him, taking some of his weight off his hurt leg, "Maybe after Wind heals you." She licks his cheek and blushes a little.

Sun nodded "Yeah, maybe." he remembered his wing was broken as well and and sighed "We might not be able to do that either." he said looking back at his wing to show her what he meant.

Wind walked over to Sun with the splint material in his mouth "You look like you need some fixing up. Shall I?" He asked, jokingly of course. He knew Sun would need his help for his wing to heal properly. "I'll need you to stay still if I'm going to do this, do you think you can do that for me?"

Sun nodded to Wind "I got someone holding me up so..." He looked over to Dawn "I'm sure I can hold on till you done" he couldn't move his wing at all already so a splint wouldn't change much.

Dawn chuckles and stands next to Sun, helping him stay up, "I won't let you fall."

Moon snoozes lightly in Wind's den, the herbs made her sleepy. She yawns in her sleep and curls up into a ball.

"Good, good. Now what we're going to do is force your wing into a straight position so it'll heal. It might hurt a bit depending on how bad the break is. Just giving you fair warning." Wind then took the sticks and covered them in sap, sticking them to either side of Sun's wing. Then, once the sticks were in place, he began wrapping a vine tightly around the sticks so that the wing stuck out straight. As a last safety measure, he took a large rhubarb leaf and stuck it onto the rest of the splint with more sap. "Now, you're going to need to be very careful with that. Keep it on for at least two weeks, and don't get it wet or else the sap will come off and the splint will far apart. Needless to say, no flying until it's healed completely and I've given you the ok."

Sun winced when his wing was straightened out. Nodding lightly as he explained how it would end up, Sun sighed he couldn't imagine how bored he would be during this wait. When he was finished he looked at his leg "and my leg Wind?"

Dawn licks Sun's neck as he winces and stays by him, she watches the healer work and tries to learn some of it so she can do it herself if she ever needed to.

"Oh, right, sorry Sun, It's broken right?" He asked, ready to go back and get more splint supplies if that was the case. He wasn't totally up to date on everyone's respective wounds.
