Strider went to help Moon with the Elk taking most of the weight on himself. He kept listening and looking around a strange feeling setting in on him. "I feel like we're being watched..."

Moon nodded in agreement. "I don't like it, it gives me the creeps!" She murmured, glancing around one last time before entering camp.

Well, my father was a alpha long with my mother, but one night a few cougars attack killing my parents along with my pack, ever since then i have been a loner, i have encountered many animals that are kind or aggressive. My life has been rough and painful ever since i was a pup, a few days ago i had just lost a pup that i adopted, a cougar got he when she went off to play"Skyler said

Moon growled instinctivly as her gaze landed on Skyler. She glanced at Dereth, watching him listen to her. She murmured, still growling, to Strider, "Who is that?!"

[Dracowolf]

Striker nodded relieved to see the camp again, starting to feel safer as he approached it. He looked over at Skyler and Dereth then at Moon, "I think it must be a loner or something. Probably someone who got through the mountains without running into the Rocs. I'm sure Dereth will tell us soon enough."

Dereth listened keeping his expression neutral for most of the story until Skylar reached the part about the pup she had adopted. He had a look of concern, fear and understanding as he thought about Geren and how much he didn't want to lose the pup. "Sounds like you've had a rough time with cats. I can't promise that here will be anything easier. Cougars are the least of our concern around here. The other cats are... Different. However I can offer you a place to stay."

Moon grumbled, sitting down. "I don't like her anymore than I like the creepy feeling outside camp." She wrapped her tail around her paws, glaring at the newcomer.

That would be nice"Skyler said with a soft smile, she was a very kind and sweet wolf pup she was still very sad about losing her first pup even through it was adopted she loved the pup like it was her own blood.

[Dracowolf]

"It's not like she's a cat or something," Strider replied, "That's be far worse. Dereth talking to a cat after they broke the truce. I swear I think they liked working for the Warlock or something."

"Alright," Dereth replied, "My father would never turn a wolf away, not out here and I won't either. If you need a home we can provide it. Though I suggest you don't go out into the forest alone until you learn your way around. There are traps set by... hunters all over the place." By hunters he referred to the cats he was uncomfortable talking about them. "However do understand that for the safety of the pack and so we can see how it works out this will be temporary until we know that everything will be fine with you in the pack." He mostly added in the last bit so he wouldn't feel like he was going into this completely blind and so that others in the pack would be less likely to challenge him, "Though I'm sure you'll prove to be a full member in no time."

"Okay"Skyler said with a smile, Dereth was kinder and nicer than cats.

Moon rolled her eyes, flicking ears. "I'd rather be friends with a cat." She growled softly. This side of her had never really been shown before.
