Mist licked her paws and lay in her den for two minutes. She yawned, stood and streached her wings. She trotted up to the top of her den then leaped into the air, taking off towards the woods. She flew just above the treetops, one front paw extended slowly to skim across the leaves. Her claws snagged onto one large, red maple leaf and she grinned. She had always liked maple leaves. She tucked it into her dark green color and made sure it didn't slip out.
