"You just need to stay away from her," Spike snarled. He might hate his sister's guts, but he was very protective of her, and didn't trust just any brute with her.

Mitchell let out a deep growl. He would risk everything for Ginger, no matter what.

"Now, I wouldn't try to attack, if I were you," Spike said. He didn't really want to fight, not right now. He just had to have a long, discussion with his sister about what'd happened. But, if this brute wanted a fight, he'd get one.

"I won't fight if you leave Ginger alone."

"No one tells me what to do about my little sister," Spike said. "All I need, is to ask her why she killed my mate, why she hated her so much. After then, I'll decide what to do...."

"No you won't!" Mitchell's claws sunk into the ground. He ran around Spike and placed himself over Ginger.

"Don't you get it?!" Spike exploded. "I'm not going to hurt her!" At least not for now. He made no move to make Mitchell get away, but he glared at him, his eyes blazing.

Mitchell's golden eyes sparked with anger. "I don't trust you."

Ginger began to stir from all the yelling. "Spike? Mitchell?" she said, tiredly.

Spike narrowed his eyes at Mitchell. "I do believe that feeling is mutual," he growled. He looked down at Ginger, as she began to wake up, but didn't move.
