Nyx smiled. "Look what else I got." She said and dropped a large bag of gold and rubies.

"Where did you get that?!" Zark asked, looking super surprised.

[fish sticks]

"I found a small village, I landed next to it and the princess gave me this as a peace offering." Nyx said and dumped it all out in his gold pile.

Zark shook his head. "No, no...This is your gold...you keep it, my dear..." he said, nosing it back to her.

Nyx smiled. "Thank you." She said and sat outside the den.

Goldenscale had gathered several of the fruits and berries in the glade and stashed them in her bag. "Have you had your fill, Thorn? Do you like any of them?" she asked before stretching.
