She opened her beady black eyes and watched the motion of the trees, watching the ways the shadows danced by the tree trunks, if she timed it just right, she could get there without drawing any attention. She closed her eyes, and listened the the way the wind ruffled the leaves... Got it. She thought as she re-opened her eyes. She readied her wings, then flew, not making a sound as she landed, catching the shadow just right, so no one could see her, but she could see everything. She turned into her human form, there was just barely enough room, and glanced about, catching some singing in the wind. She looked to where the song was coming from, but she would need to get closer. "Here we go again" She whispered as she turned back into a blackbird.

And what if I fall?
Will you be there to catch me?
No. I won't.

Ivory fangs bared in an intimidating smile as he growled. Stopping, he listened, picking up voices up the hall. Mentally shrugging his shoulders he padded cautiously towards the voices. He chuckled softly, why was he being so cautious; he wasn't a skilled fighter for nothing. As he entered he finally found the small group. Muzzle uttering a husky sigh, he sat waiting for someone to notice he was there. Mentally groaning, he saw one of them exciting trying to attain attention over something they wished to share; he wasn't really in the mood for anything excitable...actually he really felt like a good sleep.

Datu turned around once more, still making a scene, when his eyes met that of another wolf (church), with a screech. "EEE! Wait! No you're-You're not a ghost!" Datu gulped again when he realized this and blushed heavily. "S-Sorry... I-I just thought..." Datu gulped and stopped before continuing, feeling that the other did not appreciate his timidity (not that anyone would...)

Once she was close enough to the singing, she turned into her human form and after that she had and urge to sing her own song. Well not her own, but a song someone else had already made. So she sang in a soft voice:

Long brown hair, and foolish eyes.
He'd look just like you'd want him to
Some kind of slick chrome American prince.

Blue Jean serenade

I don't believe you.

Saw Cinderella in a party dress, she was looking for a nightgown.
I saw the devil wrapping up his hands, he's getting ready for the showdown.
I saw the minute that I turned away, I got my money on a pawn tonight.

She clapped her hand over her mouth, she had no idea why she did it, in her human form too!

Cassiel froze, his eyes flickering towards the human girl that was perched in his tree. He felt a flicker of irritation being overcome with curiosity inside him. "A lovely song..." He said quietly, knowing the wind would carry his voice fair enough to her ears.
He debated turning into his favorite form, but decided against it. No need to frighten the little blackbird. He chuckled inwardly at the pet name. Suiting.

The scorched crimson irises were momentarily plagued with amusement. "Well who says I'm not a ghost, this is a pretty old house...I could even be a demon...." he whispered into Datu's ear. Feeling him shudder Church smirked. "Don't worry I'm not a ghost but I wouldn't say I'm an angel either so I guess you can just stick with demon; I'm Church Butler and you're?" The burning scarlet of his eyes looked over Datu with curiosity; no, he looked at Datu like a predator finally cornering his prey.

She jumped down from her perch. No need to hide anymore She thought when they already know your there... "Thanks, I guess..." She said, looking at the boy with great curiosity. "It's one of my favorite songs" She added. "I assume you can shapeshift like me?" She guessed because what human would come from the Bamboo Trail and live at that? No one has come back alive from there... so he had to be one. "If that is so, what are you actually? I think you already know mine, a blackbird?"

Datu's eyes widened and he gulped. 'O-Oh sweet lord!' He could feel his breath on his ear! That was...that was...! EW! and scary! But mostly ew! "W-Would you mind not standing so close, Mr. Butler...!" The dog gave another gulp and began to back away- although, his ears did not flatten and his tail continued to swish behind him. "A-And it's nice to meet you! I'm Datu. Datu Emperorwaldron- I-I guess I'm the deputy? Welcome to the castle..." Datu looked over church warily. Was this wolf truly a demon? If so- that was kind of scary wasn't it? But...what if he were a nice person? That just liked to tease a bit?

...Haha, he wasn't having much hope for that either....

Smothering his laughter with the sheer force of his will, church managed to keep a straight face...except for his smirk. "You seem a little hesitant of being called the deputy...actually you seem a little scared yourself." His smirk merged into a slightly evil grin, "Don't worry, I just like to have a little fun." The ebony pupils of his own matched Datu's.
"Oh and no need to be so formal, just call me Church." Transforming his evil smile into a sickly sweet grin, he took a step closer to Datu. Chuckling gently, irises gleaming with amusement, Church tilted his head in mock confusion, "So 'deputy' who's in charge and when do I get some dinner?" Leaning in, his smile turned toothy.
"Because I am really starving."
