Bone smiled at Blaze. He used his powers to pick up a flower. It floated to Blaze and placed itself behind her ear.

He smiled again and took a step closer to her. He gazed back at her. She was perfect.

"Neither have I." He whispered. He lay down on the cool grass and smiled at her again, admiring her features: her eyes, her pelt, the way she looked in the sunlight...

"Blaze?" called Sparrowwing quietly. "Is that you?" Instantly Bone got up and snarled. "Dawn Gazers!" he spat.
