Amelie's ears pricked. "You're leaving Sashta?" She asked, curiously.

Weed smiled. "Interesting, though I wonder one thing. Why is everyone leaving in the first place?" As he walked, his broad shoulders rippled under his shiny pelt. He blinked slowly, following her gaze to Avice.

"Well, I need to get use to my surroundings, and once I see this pack thats driving the other two out, I'll decide if I'll join the other two on their journey out of here." Sashta replied.

"A large pack of massive wolves are over taking the small valley the two packs live in. They are very strong and are driving us out. Some are staying behind to try and chase them off, but they are small in numbers and probably won't last long.." Julia replied sadly.

Amelie looked at him and blushed. "Do you think...do you think I could come with you? I am new here too and..." She trailed off, blue eyes searching his hopefully.

Weed's perky ears drooped and his face turned sad. "Oh," He said, turning to look at Avice. "I am so sorry."

Avice shrugged, aloof and distant. "We don't want sympathy, just those willing to either take down the enemy wolves or help us get out of this cursed valley." His voice quivered with rage and pain as he recalled everything that had happened.

Sashta thought for a moment."Well, I can't promise I'll always be able to protect you, cause I can be kind of a wimp at times, but if your okay with that I guess." Sashta replied.

Julia let out a long heavy sigh. She felt horrible for the two packs, and all of a sudden came up with the idea of staying back with Nick and the others. She turned her head, showing Weed the massive claw markings covering the whole left side of her face.

Weed stifled a gasp and was surprised when his body began to shake in anger. "Who did this to you?" He asked, barely keeping his voice under control. If a strange realization, he found that already he felt attached to her...and very protective.

Avice shivered and turned his head to the area where he assumed the evil wolves. He had thought his pack was evil, but these wolves...they weren't normal. They were....soulless. Demons.

Amelie's tail wagged. "Oh, I don't need protection. I can take care of myself. Thanks Sashta!" She said, bubbly personality showing again.

"One of the wolves..But Avice finished him.." Julia replied softly. She couldn't believe what had happened to her face either, but she was very glad Avice had attacked him, or she might not be alive."If Avice wouldn't have attacked that wolf, I could be dead right now.." She practically whispered, but loud enough for both males to hear.

Sashta nodded."Very well. We better get going though." Sashta said as he started down an old narrow path.
