SunStrider was carrying Rainbow on his back because the young pup was tiered from traveling so far. "Sun? Are we there yet?"

"No little one. But we are in new territory. So keep your ears pricked." Sun told her as they kept going

Ghost swiftly turned her head around. "Yes Derrus?" She said, tilting her head.

Derrus smiled and looked at her. "Y-You're going to have new arrivals in your pack. Young ones."
He grinned. "Rosie's pregnant."

Sun sniffed the air and the scent of other wolfs was overwhelming. "Lets howl Rainbow. Maybe someone will answer."

"ok." she said as she pointed her nose to the sky and let out a little howl.

Sun's howl was strong and bold. It was longing for a place to call home.

Ghost smiled and wagged her tail. "Oh that's great! I can't wait too see your new family!" She looked up at the sky and howled a beautiful howl.

Derrus smiled.
"It's nice that we're bringing pups into the pack, right?" He chuckled.

"I really must be going now, Rosie had a terrible dream and I need to be there for her. See you later?"

"Do you hear that Sun!?" Rainbow exclaimed and jumped off of him. She ran to the howl.

"Yes but wait for me!" he laughed and chased after her.

They came upon a pack of wolves and stopped a yard or so away. Sun flicked his ear to tell Rainbow to wait there as he paced closer. "Greetings." Sun bowed deeply to everyone. "I need to speak to the alpha. Rainbow" he said pointing back to her with his tail "and I are looking for a new home. Is there room for us here?"

Derrus looked at her. "The alpha's over there- the one with the wings and the horns." He smiled, then he flew off to his den.
