(ik lol i had raised a black rat snake at my grams to full size and that was always the first question i got)
Harlequin finally woke from her doze and looked around, flicking her tongue as she tried to gather her senses again. When she realized where she was, she looked at Pudding then looked away.

(one time i saw a baby northern copperhead next to my front door, but we didnt know what it was so my mom picked it up and told me to find out what it was with my snake book! my mom played with rattlesnakes when she was my age!)
pudding got to the stream, to a few long sips and thought for a second. wow! harly is probably the only girl snake that has ever really talked to me... he straightened up to look nice and slapped himself accross the face with his tail. NO MORE EATING LEAVES!!!
