Sicilia opened her eyes. "You really think I would tell someone?" She growled.

Firnen blinked at her. "You might not have known. You still don't know... you must never know..." He shivered. "Sorry, I have to go." He turned and walked hastily away.

Caleb shook his head, and his eyes softened with sympathy. "No, you haven't," he said.

"Her gem was smashed after she was mutilated." Riffle said "They found fox fur caught in her teeth and claws. At the time no one believed a fox could do something like that, so they eventually came to the conclusion she fell on her head." She snorted. "What fools."

Sicilia glared after him and turned the other way. She walked back to the puddle she had found earlier and laid on her stomach, her green eyes full of pain.

"It's not a problem," Diablo chuckled, his amber eyes tinged with amusement. "So, what exactly were you thinking about? I do hope nothing it wrong."

Aurora gave a quick nod of acknowledgement, then went to check the pup. She let out a sigh of relief as she saw the jewel, perfectly in tact. Bruises and even broken bones could be mended, but not a broken gem. She began running her eyes over the pup, trying to see what exactly was the problem.

Shiara gave a brief, sweet smile; something uncharacteristic of her. She began padding away, towards the kill basin. As she neared it, she suddenly caught an unfamiliar scent. A low growl came from her throat, though was quickly cut off as she noticed the intruder was only a pup. Hoping she hadn't frightened the life out of the poor thing, she padded slowly up to it. "Hello, little one," she called out softly, reassuringly. "I'm not going to hurt you."

Caleb glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, a sympathetic look in them. "Well, I don't think anyone can deny the foxes know something about our gems, not after this. How they know?" Caleb gave a sigh. "I wish we knew for certain... It wasn't necessarily a fox that may or may not have been your father... Perhaps, it was mere coincidence... But that does remind me, has anyone let Sapphire know about the attack yet?"

Kisma smiled sympathetically and scooted closer to Breeze. "Well, sounds like someone has a crush on you." She teased lightly, her smile now turning to a completely genuine one. "You can always tell him to back off," she pointed out a quite obvious solution, but not the easiest. "Or, I suppose, if you two are discovering some sort of power from your jewels..." She shook her head again, interested but puzzled. "You could work on trying to find new powers together. See if that eases anything." She lapsed into silence, her own thoughts taking over half of her thought process while the other half remained trained on Breeze.

((Yes. Healers are bound by ancient and long-forgotten spells that they cannot hurt anything, no matter how hard they try. They are the only wolves who know about magic, the true use of their jewels- Even Sapphire does not quite know what she was doing in her den. Accepted! XD))

Breeze scowled. "I told him to leave me alone," She blinked at Kisma, incredulous. "Work with him?" She snorted. "He's creepy! And besides, my jewel's perfectly normal!"

Sapphire tipped her head to the side, her old thoughts returning, about telling the pack of the strange happening in her den or not. "No, nothing that I know of is wrong.. It's something personal, actually." Her tone was apologetic.

Firnen felt horrible. There was a small crease between his eyes, and his heart was beating rapidly. She almost found out about magic... He thought. Because of me. Sapphire carries the blood of Havroc and Saldivier in her veins, as well as many, many other wolves, including Ferenin, who guided Powerglow to the mountains. Stone's her cousin... but neither of them know who Saldivier and Havroc are. It would be dangerous to pass that information to any other wolves- it's far too embraced with magic. He puzzled over the past of Powerglow. I can trace Sapphire's heritage way back, even past Saldivier and Havroc.

Sicilia growled when she remembered why she went to see Firnen. She got up and slowly went to him.

(So even if the wolves don't know about the magic, can they still do things with their gems like create light or find out where something is?)

Terra
Terra let out a sign of her own. She saw in the healer's eyes that Rain wasn't seriously hurt. One thing that Terra couldn't stand was pups getting hurt. Tears came to her ryes as she remembered her past.

Tala
Tala had been to buisy eating that she didn't sense anything wrong. She couldn't remember the last time she had eaten like this. So much food! she thought. Then she heard a low grown and froze, slowly looking up at the wolf that had just growled. Uh oh. Tala thought. But when the other wolf came up to Tala and told her that she wouldn't be hurt, Tala relaxed a bit.

Liam
Liam had expienced a wide array of emotions in a span of a few seconds. At first almost jelous at how the pup stole Shiara away from him. But then he thought Hey, this is only a pup. She looks hungry too. And he felt sad for the pup, seeing that she was thinner then most of the pups in the pack. Then he felt some sort of admaration for the pup, being brave enough to steal from a pack's food basin. But the last emotion in this short span of time was suspicion. As this is a loner pup, how does she have a Jewel on her head?

((The most any of the pack wolves know about them is that when their true name is spoken, it glows. But yes, sometimes, because of the nature of the gems and all the ancestors of the wolves who used magic before them, they show the magic really is there.))

Rain shivered, staring at the delta healer with huge eyes. "I'm not in trouble, am I?" She squeaked, frightened from her fall.
