The shiny thing was buried, so I spent an hour digging it up. It ended up being a rock, but it was extremely shiny.. so I took it with me. I chose to go on a stroll through the woods, and hopefully spot some prey.

I didn't find anything, so I sat down and chilled, thinking over things. I'd like to have some company once in a while. But not much company. As they say, two's company, three's a crowd. Plus, I'm not very social. A little bit of company never hurts though. I thought to myself, staring at my new shiny rock.

I sighed and lye down on my back, my back legs in the air. I kicked at the air a little with my left back leg, watching clouds roll by with my shiny rock. I wasn't really sure what to do right now. Actually, I never was. I didn't really know many others. I did know the mice and birds though. But I wasn't sure they knew me as much more than that terrifying semi-dangerous beast with sharp teeth that keeps bringing down deer. Oh well.

I got up, deciding to go hunt something down again. I was beginning to get frustrated. Sometimes I'd get frustrated when I thought on that particular topic. The one where I'd hope to meet but one wolf. I didn't usually see many nearby, whether that's because I'm just not around at the time or because they just aren't ever nearby,, I may never know. I picked up the scent of a deer not far at all to the north, and licked my lips. Honestly, I'd gotten pretty hungry. Last I ate was two or three days ago. The deer and any other good prey keep moving farther north, so it's getting rare to spot any this far south. I wasn't too far south, but I was compared to how far up north the deer were. I began tracking down the deer, making sure to stay downwind.
