Monica opened one eye to see that Hikaru had come back, she closed her eyes again.

(they are both demons, but they have good souls..)

Hikaru came back out of the cave and saw Synn and said"Come here"and looked at her getting his sword just in case.

Synn approached Hikaru. "Demon or angel?" she demanded, her hand on the hilt of her sword.

Hikaru watched her hand "Demon" and twirled his sword.

Monica heard a metal scrape, possibly from a weapon. She jumped up, the fire was dimming and she raced to the entrance. She peered outside just far enough to see what was going on. Looks like her friends were in trouble. Doesn't that new demon know that Kiba is the demon prince?? She thought about helping them...

"Fine." Synn sighed. She'd been hoping for a fight. "I'm Synn." She saw Monica, and drew her sword. "And who are you, girl?"

Hikaru put up his sword and said"she's with me"and growled.

Monica was sure she wouldn't have been spotted, but now she had to face her. Shestepped blatantly out in the mouth of the cave, "Monica, and you, weary traveler?"

"I didn't ask who she was with. I asked who she is." Synn replied. She switched to her demon form, which made her more powerful. One enemy she could fight. Two, maybe. "I am Synn. I am no weary traveler, I am a rogue demon."

Hikaru growled and went into his demon form making his sword longer and more powerful"Don't touch her."he said and narrowed his eyes.
