Payton looked up, opening her eyes. "You ok-kay... Kib-a?"

kiba was taken back and quickly cleared hit throat and wipped his eye "I'm fine..." he tried to comfort her with a smile, "how are you?"

She did a weak chuckle, laying her head back on his chest. "I've b-been better..."

kiba softly rubbed her back "is there ANYTHING i can do?"

"Just lay wi-ith me, and don't l-eave," She said, closing her eyes.

Payton smiled weakly and sighed with content, relaxing. She reached up and kissed him on the lips, pushing hair out of her face.
