Kiba’s eyes darkened as he looked down the hall in a distant voice he asked “so I heard you two got married… and well uh… con-congrats” a knot in his throat, he tried to swallow.

He looked away from her for a moment “yeah, when I heard about you two… I kinda lost myself for a while… when I came to I was back in hell, and I was so cold, that cold I hadn’t felt in centuries…” he smiled as he looked back at her, his smile faded.
