Monica blushed, "umm well... I know I need to do the mission... I'm also just not so sure i know what it is." She dared not tell him that she didn't really want to do the mission either...

Kiba looked around and asked “well… uh… lets see… you already made me good, which is a good deed I’d say… hmmm…” he put his index finger on his lips and looked up thinking then he asked “you told me about your famous father, but what about your mother, what is she like?” he was trying to change the subject, not wanting to risk her remembering the mission

Monica sighed, "She's so beautiful... I didn't get to see her very long. She was sent to Earth a long time ago. but I know she was sent far from here. So I doubt it's about her." She watched him tentatively. The sun was getting lower but it was only around 5 ish.

kiba’s eyes where soft and warm as he met her eyes and said “she sounds nice, I hope you get to see her again really soon. Everyone should have a mother to comport them during every moment of everyday.”

Monica nodded,"Yea well... she's been gone a long time. I don't think she'll ever finish her mission. I think she's here forever..." Monica crossed her arms sadly.

kiba asked "so you think she's a human yet or?"

"Well eventually if you ignore your quest then you loose your angel wings." Monica sighed against the tree, looking out onto the lake.

Kiba’s eyes widened and filled with concern he knelt down beside her and he asked “Monica…” he quickly wrapped his arms around her and pressed her against his chest in a tight comforting hug.

Monica let a tear slip down her cheek, She was taken aback by his comforting arms, but didn't dare flinch away. She pressed her head against his broad chest. She now remembered what she thought her mission was...

Kiba continued to hug her, he felt the tear drop and stroked the back of her head gently with his hand. He nuzzled his head against hers, and said warmly “I’ll always be here for you whether your and angel or a human.”
