For general gold I had a hard time, so I just rolled a d5 for everyone. It should be listed in your inventory. (Aka bag of holding… hehe… “He’s been watching you”)

As you set off to the market, the birds sang for the arrival of Dawn. A calm, peaceful morning. (Casually rolls a D20, 16 on perception check) you feel uneasy walking past one of the larger houses… the birds have stopped chirping. You feel as if something is watching you… a very tall, slender, unrecognizable, figure peers out at you from (what you could call a) alleyway between two buildings. As “it” slinks away into the darkness, you can hear what sounds like a bird panicking. Possibly trying to escape from something. Then. A long long empty silence…

as you come closer and gaze into the Alley, the pathway was littered with yellow feathers. The creature was gone… There was no way out of this alley (other than the one you’re coming through)… all that remained was the feathers and at the back… a small leather bag of holding… you pick up some of the feathers, they might be important in the future. Something else catches your eye, A few thin locks of grayish black (what you assume to be) hair

still confused, you continue to the market. Various stands were set up. Some selling weapons and armor, others with food and gemstones. You have 3 gold pieces, the feathers and a Spear you got from the invading Bullywugs from the night before. As more visitors traveled into the town, their wears did to. Magical items, and curses were surely within the mix. Look out for anything that catches your eye

4x daggers
2x long swords
1x crossbow
5x crossbow ammunition

Shop 2:
2x chain mail Armor
3x leather armor
1x metal helmet

Shop 3:
3x fresh baked bread
1x steamed salmon
6x berry baskets
8x carrots
1x Cabbage head

Shop 4:
5x amethyst shards
3x obsidian (weapon grade)

Shop 5:
1x silver amulet (healing)
6x wool pelts
2x strength potions
5x small healing, potions


You can buy from any of these, ask about prices, barter, ask them if they’ve seen anything, converse, or decide not to buy anything

i quickly look around at each stall before realizing i probably can't afford anything. can i interact with the town's people to see if i can pick up a quick job to earn gold? or a side quest for that matter?
