Plot

The vast kingdom of Anvia is home to many species of supernatural beings, from werewolves to elves, from vampires to sirens, everyone has managed to find their place quite comfortably in Anvia. And for each of the higher up families, they used to host an annual dance, where each of these nobles and higher-ranking families would attend with their of-age children to make their debut in the world of high society, taking part in a two-week-long series of events, dances and activities in order for them to make their marks. Whether the end goal was finding a partner, learning a new skill, networking with influencial families or simply to show off, it was usually always a vibrant two weeks. However, ever since the then-alpha noble werewolves were killed around twenty years ago during the event - with no culprit found - there has not been another one.
Now, at long last, The Debutant Dance is back. Highly anticipated by those that have never been and those that have attended many in the past alike, it is sure to be as vibrant as it used to be. But there's also still tension in the air, with everyone on guard in case a repeat of the event that caused the stop in the Debutant Dances for all those years occurs again. But surely that wouldn't happen... right?

You may have up to three characters. Only one can be the Head/Alpha of a family, but the others can be other members.
For ease there'll only be up to two families for each species but if you don't see a species on the list that you'd like to be, just let me know and I'll add them!
There'll be a maximum of three Debutants (whatever their genders) to a family (not including the Head/Alpha).

- As per usual, all of Tess' rules apply (it should go without saying, but there's always someone...)
- PM to reserve - they last for 24 hours.
- Roleplay post lengths must be 5-6 sentences, at the least, for each character. No one- or two-liners.

- All characters must be 19 or older. Heads/Alphas must, of course, be much older.

Taking place over two weeks, the Debutant Dance is the name for the event as a whole - although it's not always just dancing.
Each family stays in their own, beautiful townhouse, near to the main event site. Each house has a large dining hall, large enough to host the other families all at once - as a tradition, each family hosts an evening meal for the others, providing food, entertainment and discussion. For example, on Evening 1, the Vampires might host an evening meal, and then on Evening 2, the Werewolves, and so on. There's usually at least 14 families in attendance, so the others can be NPCs if needed.

On days 1, 7 and 14 there is a ball, for each guest to dress up in some of the most fanciful and elegant attire. This is usually when most of the socialising takes place. There's often a theme for each one. This time, Day 1's Ball is Black & Silver, Day 7's Ball is Masquerade and Day 14's Ball is Starry Night.

The rest of the event involves other activities, such as painting, horseback riding, archery and ballroom dance classes. Naturally, some of these are more tame than others, giving the Debutants a chance to get to know one another in a more relaxed environment while learning a new skill, while others are more competitive and certainly bring out the show offs.
