Roxy darted in through the door so that she was standing in front of Roxy, though to the blind eye it would seem as though she just appeared there. “Hey now, don’t be hasty... In trying times such as these, a little friendliness goes a long way.” Though this girl could probably use a lot of friendliness... “I’m Jo.” She announced, doing a very played up and dramatic bow. “I probably won’t stay in town for very long at all, I like to stay on the move, but while I am here I wouldn’t want like, one of the only other people in this inn to hate me you know.” Jo’s eyes narrowed ever so slightly, not so much as challenging Roxy but just excited to see how she would react.

"Thank you." Vitali replied, rather pleased that they seemed impressed - or at least interested - in his abilities. He'd always liked and was satisfied with his abilities, though he'd known a few people that lamented their abilities and wished they had something different.

Anyway, he glanced towards Cephas and Obinni as they discussed narcolepsy. "I can usually feel when it's about to happen, so I have a little time to lie down." he explained, hoping to clear any confusion. Then, Vitali turned his attention to each of the others as they explained their abilities, nodding a little at each one. Everyone seemed to be vary varied in their abilities, which he considered to be useful.

When Cephas approached him, with his request for Vitali to fire one more moon beam, he shrugged a little. "Sure, okay."
Since it was a bit later, it was a little easier to draw power, eyes glowing silver as he did so. He channeled the lunar power to his hands, before forming it and then he aimed his hands directly upwards, and fired a beam of lunar energy. It shot upwards for quite a while, before eventually dissipating as it hadn't hit anything.

A frustrated sigh forced its way through Roxy's nose. No hitman was this persistent. This girl was just weird. Overly friendly, with no respect for boundaries. Pretty much the opposite kind of person she preferred to associate with. Friendships were hard, it was just easier to keep everything to simple, necessary exchanges. Knowing that, it was suddenly really hard to be angry at her. Well, not really hard to be angry, that bit was easy, but it was hard to feel justified about it. "Roxy," She said, "I work here. I don't hate you, I don't even know you. Stay out of trouble and keep your hands to yourself, and we won't have to see much of each other." Better for both of them that way. Even if she wanted a companion, she had too many people chasing her to feel good about dragging someone along.

Excited, maniacal little giggles erupted from Cephas. “Aaaaawesoooooooome!!”
Watching the beam dissipate into the sky was like watching fireworks. It was bright, brilliant, and satisfying.

“Okay. Ready for whatever now.” He kept giggling to himself intermittently, and almost inappropriately.

He was with SUPERHEROES now. Not just any shmuck who could turn invisible or make hammers or mimic animals, but REAL SUPER PEOPLE. They had real power, and a real mission—to change the world by putting a new whoever-the-heck QUEEN on the throne. Cephas hadn’t been so excited in forever. Plus, WHO KNEW what all wonderful things...he could pick from their pockets.

"Wooooowww!" Obinni gasps at the same time as Cephas, completely enamoured. She glances at the young boy with a happy expression. Issac smiles fondly at her and her excitement. He then stands. "Ready to go?" He asks, glancing around the group. "Yeah. let's get going." Alex says, standing. Jet hums and nods, crossing his arms. She creates a portal, hiding it on the other side. She looks through without going through. "Coast is clear." She says quietly, even if it's not necessary. She then heads through, and towards the inn across the street. Standing on the porch, she turns to make sure everyone else gets through.

Cephas stepped through the portal, running his hand around the border as he did so, trying to grip the wall and comprehend its dimensions. Once he was in he whispered back through.

“Who’s paying?”

Vitali raised an eyebrow at Cephas. He definitely seemed giddy, like he was among his heroes or something. But then again... he supposed it was pretty cool, with everyone's abilities and their quest.

With the portal now open, Vitali stepped towards it, allowing most of the others through first, and then he stepped through himself. "Thank you." he said, quietly, and then looked around the town himself. Yes, the coast was clear... he hoped there wouldn't be another patrol while they were still out and about. Not that it would matter too much - he was sure they'd all be able to make quick work of the guards with their abilities.

However, Cephas had raised a good question... who was paying? Did everyone even have any funds? Vitali did have some himself, which he carried with him, so he was certain to pay for his own room.

Cephas's hands easily pushed and moved the walls of the portal, which was a warm, a comfortable, cosy warm. And moved and stretched around his hand like a lightweight fabric, being pushed and prodded while hanging from a line.
"We can make a trade in the morning." Issac whispers back, as he walks past Alex who nods in agreement and into the inn. Once everyone else has gone inside, she follows, the portal disintegrating. Alex lets Issac discuss his plan to pay the next morning with how late it was with the receptionist, who after a bit of hesitation agreed, and gave him their room keys. He had gotten two, one for the girls one for the guys. Which would be plenty, especially if Vitali got his own room. He hands Alex a key, which she takes with a grateful nod, and while lightly holding Obinni's hand, she leads her up the stairs towards the second story. Issac walks over to Cephas and Vitali, and asks Cephas for his plans as to where he'd like to stay.

“Got no money. If...if you really don’t want me in your room, I can just...sleep outside.”
His voice was dejected and pathetic. He rotated on his heels while studying the floor, sniffling.

Jo’s eyes grew a tad dark upon hearing Roxy’s name. “Right. Sorry for bothering you, I know I can be a bit much sometime.” She smiled, her patented cheerfulness showing through, but something was nagging her on the inside and she suddenly wanted out of the cramped building. Were the walls closing in? She knew they weren’t but it didn’t stop her from exiting the building in a probably very suspicious manner. Once outside, she found some crates stacked against a wall, allowing her to scale up to the roof and take a deep breath, sit down, and close her eyes.

It wasn’t long before she heard voices, though, and she peered down over the edge of the roof. It was that cool group from earlier! She wasn’t quite prepared for any more human interaction right now, poor memories flooding her mind weren’t quite helping her nerves, but she still tried to steel them just in case they spotted her and she needed to speak.
