From her peripheral vision, she saw him. Even before the message was sent out. As he rose to his feet, broken, but not beaten. Damaged, but still undefeated. She caught a glimpse of the damage - peeling skin, sparks, metal and exposed circuitry. She should be disgusted at the sight, but no such feeling arose. Only something intangible, almost primal awoke within.

“Take it. Big, then gun.”

The buzz from her phone had never given her so much relief before. It was a cryptic message, but she didn’t think too much about it. She set her phone down, panning the weapon-in-hand to take aim. The tension that held her taut seconds ago, eased from her shoulders. It was only now that she registered the hum flowing through her veins, a familiar one, slowly building up a charge. At any moment, her body was prepared to release thousands of volts into the air, potentially shocking those locked in a battle of survival, but that wasn’t the plan. Keep control. Eye on the scope.

Bullets shots. Fired into the crowd of civilians. From the captain himself, most likely a not-so-subtle warning to the last of the peeping civilians to get out and far from the conflict, if they valued their lives. Back-up had arrived, which was a welcome sight. Pandora responding to the call. Arsinoe was nowhere to be seen. Her fellow sniper was either out sniping or not here. She didn’t rely on her. She couldn’t.

Deep breath in and release. Detach herself from the situation, extricating herself emotionally. An emotional stake in the fight was where the mistakes happened. It clouded judgement and logic. Sometimes it couldn’t be helped, but minimizing it remained an important step.

It was down to her and the gun. Her first target was ‘Big’, the knife man presumably. Quick motions to the side and she had him within the cross-hairs, along with Iceman close by. Too close. Iceman was unpredictable, the wild card, who potentially knew her position, but hadn’t tattled yet. Shoot him, too?

The decision was instantaneous, more a split-second afterthought. A partial swing to the side, adjust upwards to compensate for gravity’s pull, double-check wind position and direction. Aim and fire. A shot directed toward his shoulder-region, if it aimed true. If not, best case scenario would be that it served to keep him off the captain’s back and give her enough time to take her next target out. It wasn’t part of the plan, but she couldn’t leave loose ends with the little time she had at stake. Pan to the side, line ‘Big’ up within the crosshairs… a quiet exhale... And fire.

No hesitation. No regret.

aileen scoffed at the lack of a heartbeat, finally taking her two fingers off kipp. she looked up, glaring at the sun which stared right back. putting a hand over her eyes to block out the rays, she noticed a little bird come closer, then distance itself. "what a neat trick..." aileen said softly. she then pulled a single razor blade out of her poncho, one of many she kept on her along with the pocket knife. flinging it at the bird that hovered in the air, the razor cut straight through. she smirked, watching the bird collapse. she normally wasnt one to hurt wildlife, but this was a must. turning her attention back to kipp, a thought came to her mind. if he was an android, then surely there was a way to turn him on and off, right? maybe she could get some sort of info out of him by herself. so, with narrowed eyes, aileen placed her two fingers back on kipps chest, right where his heart would be, and whispered, "life."

______________________________________________________________________________________________
saša milovanović (milo) | the general | dark magic | catacombs (undeveloped) --> surface | tagged: bee, edie, ansel, nic, wren, TARS, pandora | mentioned: n/a

"xir, I'm sure I don't need to remind you, but we are at war. i don't think anyone was born a solider, or born to kill, but it's a part of me, a part of everyone that has anything to do with this war, to do what they have to."

    no.

it was a war, but not bee's. not the system's. not even the flock's. this war sat on one inhuman's shoulders, and one alone--it wasn't a burden to be shared. it wasn't a suffering for anyone else to partake in. everyone had lost something: freedoms, families, friends and dear ones... yes, every one of them had been cheated out of those things. every one of them had been touched by the long-reaching chains labelled 'sovereignty' and 'patriotism' that had been wrapped around their throats. every one of them was choking under it, reaching up in the dark, a caterwaul of voices begging to feel the warmth of the sun.

but none of them deserved that burning, that hatred that pushed itself through their veins like frost. a chill, deep into the marrow of their bones, that turned their heart to ice and made their fingers numb. that made their fingers shake with fury. doing what it would take to bring freedom was not a glamorous task--it was a poison, a sickness that had long since taken root in them. it was one that knew no antidote, and would not be quelled even when drowned in the life of the innocent.

    no.

that punishment belonged to them alone. that revenge was theirs to enact, theirs to embody, and, eventually, theirs to bring down. to asphyxiate six feet beneath the soil.

it doesn't have to be like that.

"you can trust me xir. i'll do what I have to. you guys are my family, i promise i'll protect you."

milo pulled away, their gloved hands releasing bee's fingers, hesitating only slightly. the words burned, sent an ache through their heart, a pang echoing through their broad chest.

you shouldn't say something like that.

"no. so forward of me to assume," the general returned. "...but even then. just because you can, doesn't mean you must. hold on to that. some people have a different role to play than they might first anticipate. now come--and careful. chevy has a kickback that would bowl over even a meatball like ansel. i feel obligated, once more, to assure you that you must not use her unless there are no other options."

the ivory-haired mutant glanced up, and moved a bit more swiftly now, purpose in their step. chin up, gaze forward. this was not new. this was not something they were unprepared for. they stepped into the lift, waiting for bee to join them, before slamming their palm down on the controls and glancing up. the pangs of hunger that had been dogging them moments earlier were gone now. adrenaline stilled their hands, and their breaths came slow and even. perhaps a collector knew of fight and of battle, but milo had been delivered straight into the heart of it. she was their lifeblood, and they were her servant, in perpetuity.

when the sunlight began to peek through, golden dapples landing on the general's olive skin, their lungs tightened as though a lover's lips had touched their cheek. their soul served one mistress, but their affections another entirely. it was a different kind of pull, a more tender agony. the lift jerked to a stop. milo's hand rested on their hip. the doors opened, and the general closed their eye to step into the light.

the glow of the sun could be compared to no other pleasure. the coolness of moving, clear air, the freshness of a summer breeze. it ruffled their collar, tousled stray strands of white, and left them with a yearning that no being on earth could hope to ease. no being that lived. no being that still walked among them. even from here, the cries of people in panic could be heard, shots echoing in the distant city center. two blocks. maybe three? they could run it, especially with officers busy keeping rubber-necks at a safe distance. at the edges, it gave the illusion of order, but the general already knew the chaos that must be brewing within.

"briskly, collector cogdill, but not desperately. it'll be easy to bypass them with security so disorganized. they must have only just gotten the call."

milo didn't wait for an answer, striding over and slipping into the crowd with little difficulty. the shouting and cries of concern, few officers to deal with a multitude of people... it almost made the general offer a cruel chuckle. how ironic that a country would do all it could to suppress a people group deemed "dangerous," to cover their own uncaring deficit of safety? humans would never cease to amaze and enrage them. the bystanders didn't even pause to look at them as they weaved in and out, making it through the line with little trouble--and as soon as they passed, broke into an easy run, not bothering to glance back as there was a shout after them. it wasn't like a glorified crossing guard would actually follow them.

they'd lost direct sight of bee, but it didn't quite matter. she would catch up eventually. they knew that.

    do you?

    will she really?

you're awfully confident in a mere collector.

yes. it was fine. they had faith. after all, there was a reason she was here with them.

they rounded the corner, eyes scanning the horizon as they dodged past fleeing citizens. nic had only mentioned the kingpin, but stellar wasn't stupid. he'd never come alone, which meant more than likely that there was a sniper holed up close by. they had to be quick--in moments, they could lose everything. faster, faster, scanning each floor, watching for something, anything as they sprinted around the last corner into the chaotic square.

    there.

a shine, just barely; a small, odd glitter. milo followed the line of it down to the center of the violence--edie, they saw first, pistol gripped in both hands. then ansel, breathing heavily, fury on his features; nic, with frost crystallizing in the air as he breathed, on his fingertips and weapon; then TARS, as a civilian moved out of the way, taking stray shots like a child at a carnival game; and the last one, a taskforce backup, tossing their hands out to disarm their lambs. if stellar was shooting wild, the sniper would be quick to follow. they couldn't possibly hit edie--or at least, the odds weren't good enough to try. nic was barely holding it together, from what milo could see, and neither taskforce member presented as immediate a threat as a well-aimed sniper. that left ansel--the most likely target, easy to hit and most dangerous out of he and the ice giant.

if the sniper aimed to kill, the general would likely die in moments. they were well aware.

but despite what bee said, milo was born like this. they existed to think, to assess, to act. their mistress bid them, and nothing beyond that mattered as muscle memory consumed their movements. perhaps a trained veteran would find the general foolish to come here themselves, to place themselves in danger.

    three paces.

even so, milo had to come. the people here, the lives at stake... they were worth the cost.

    two.

they folded their fists together, elbow tucked and head down. they'd already thought ahead. this plan would never have worked if jessica was the one beside them.

    one.

they didn't slow as the brunt of their shoulder hit ansel square in the chest, the force of their form enough to knock the man slightly to the side and out of the direct line of sight. their eye closed tightly as they relaxed in the last second, forcing themselves not to brace.

bang.

just as they anticipated, pain exploded along their hip and lower abdomen. the sniper's shot found them, entering just along the inside of the joint, exiting through the back and embedding itself in the asphalt. even though they were ready, it hurt, hurt so much more than they had really realized, and they were sure that the bone must have been pulverized. they staggered, and came to their knee, stifling any sound that threatened to escape their throat. swallowing it down, they gasped roughly, before gritting their teeth and setting their jaw.

"crowe! the sniper!" they choked. they pressed a palm to their thigh, and forced themselves back up in one deft motion, opposite hand reaching to unholster colt and direct it at david. the action made their vision flash, white-hot with pain, then black and hazy as their consciousness waver for a brief second--then they opened their eye.

it had been a long time since they were this angry.

"i didn't know we were playing dirty, TARS."

they pulled back the hammer, and fired.

Nic darted to the side again, a bit closer to Ansel, and still his eyes occasionally looped over to where he saw the sniper. He bit his lip, lifting his pistol to aim it at TARS, he had to move again to make sure he would be able to only hit the android. When his eyes focused on TARS though he halted for a moment, watched the strange bot continue to fight.
He brought the gun up again, finding the nerve to aim at Tars once more even after seeing how he was still pitted against the rebels despite his disfigurement. Nic didn't even know if he'd be able to forget what his face looked like. Slowly, making sure his aim was true, he pulled the trigger,
    click
Nic stared down, his eyes growing wide, the pistol couldn't be more useful if it were in a block of ice. The damn thing was frozen solid, causing the bullet to jam. He clenched his teeth, shifting slightly and pulling the trigger again, harsher this time.
    Bang!
hah! It worked. Nic chuckled before realizing the shot wasn't from his pistol, and instead started feeling the blooming pain as a bullet collided with his right shoulder. A gasp left him and the hand holding his pistol loosened it'd grip and the gun fell to the concrete.
The sheer shock of it was all that could send Nic to the ground, clutching at his shoulder as he looked around, confusion leaving him as knees dropped onto the concrete, sending a skim of ice shooting out around him. He grunted, looking up just in time to watch his leader, Milo, rush in, only to have their hip painted with scarlet as they too were shot. Nic called out, but his voice died in his throat as his hand danced over his own wound, attempting to freeze the flesh.
Then he rose to his feet, unsure if Milo was too far from him, he approached them slowly before he was hit with a blast that sent him reeling again. He barely managed to graze their leader's lower back, freezing the area where Milo had been shot to help them continue fighting. He spotted a dark skinned task force with armed outstretched and he swallowed. He would likely remember every face that was at this battle today, whether he wanted to or not. He panted, throat becoming dry from the pain that sparked through his body as he stumbled back, trying with all his strength to get away from the conflict.
He would only be a bother if he couldn't fight for himself.
His eyes went out of focus as he lost his balance again, not sure exactly which way lead back to the compound.

Well, this was interesting. Darby brought a hand to his chin as he thought, some thing up top? He didn't think that would happen lately, everything seemed so peaceful. He grit his teeth, his jaw clenching briefly before his green eyes danced over toward Chester. He let a small 'hmph' leave him before he looked over at daniel, the recruit. They both seemed anxious, Darby himself could only wonder why Daniel was though.
    He turned back to Chester,
"Okay, well there's no sense just standing around here and chatting about it. I would imagine we could split up, look around the catacombs, but not go far from the compound, we don't need to get in trouble ourselves." He said simply. He pursed his lips, his expression uncaring as he looked back around the mess hall. He spotted a dark-haired man nearby(Tacet) but he couldn't put a face to them as he turned away, and he knew there were others nearby.
He just didn't know if any of them would listen to him if he told them to come inside. He didn't generally act like he cared about the rest of the rebels' well being more than he had to before.
If he was being honest he didn't want to see any of them hurt, he didn't like seeing that look on their faces.

"How about" He glanced briefly at Chester once more before he put his hands in his hoodie pockets. He didn't really know where he was going with this. Jess gave you the order, perhaps go check the borders? I'm sure Daniel and I could handle everything in here. He explained, looking over at the recruit quickly.

└──────────┘

this man was ruthless.

ansel watched a child fall. he almost gasped, a hand jutting out into the air, some helpless plea begging for it not to be true. the raging machine was the devil himself and was now releasing his hellfire on every innocent life he could. this was hell. this was his message. this was payback. his heart shattered, untampered grief coursing through his blood. he nearly snarled back, taking a step to lunge at the monster with his blade, when it was knocked from his hands by some unexpected force.

his wrist nearly snapped. "WHAT THE HELL-"

then they hit him.

the massive soldier hadn't even had the chance to balance himself from the blast when some unstoppable force careened into him. it was a big body, determined and unbending. but not a machine. a shot cracked. but the blunt power of the body's blow had swept him clear off his feet and skidding into the hot pavement... forehead collided with asphalt.

he was dark. then he was spinning. this had to be some horrible carnival. scarlet and lights were flashing. there was music, wait... no. people were screaming. they weren't screams of joy. he was so dizzy from it all and how he wished he could shake the haze. this was the haunted trauma where the rides never stopped and the tickets were bodies hitting the ground.

then his eyes opened.

"EDIE, DOWN." it was the first thing from his quaking lips- half assuming it had been her to knock him out of the way. wrong again. his head spun to see some mighty character staggering to the ground beside him. blur was sharpening and the memory of the great mass raced to the forefront of his mind.

the name almost broke through, but he stopped himself as he watched their body hit the cement, "NO, NO..." the bullet of that wreckless child's game had found a target. he had been in its way, its murder path, but it didn't find the mark it had been sent for. milo crumbled. how he wished it had found him instead.

ansel scrambled from his stupor, his powerful hands gripping the arm of his general. his comrade. his friend. words had just left their mouth but ansel was concentrated on getting them to their feet. there was no fighting it now. the head of the snake needed to be freed. this torment had gone on for too long now and people were literally losing their lives due to this mechanical maniac and his twisted religions. to be strong, united, and rebellious. they would have to be. hesitate now and today would surely be the day man met its fall.

milo's words were alight and the seething hiss of them made ansel's skin crawl with rage. corded muscles gleamed in that writhing general but they had risen from their grave. breath pumped through the massive soldier as he wiped the dripping blood from his brow with a sweaty arm. ansel swallowed that unwelcomed warmth in his mouth. then milo unleashed.

bang.

he didn't wait to see what happened. milo was strong and ansel wasn't about to let some other childish enforcer step in the way of their life-mission. this was the time for their freedom.

for alice.
for edie.
for michael.

for everyone that was left tucked in those deep dark tunnels below such a luscious earth. liberation was near.

like a mighty bear, ansel wheeled toward the man who had cleared the weapons from their hands. that was okay. he actually preferred to fight with his hands. it was time to get them dirty. milo had TARS, edie had the sniper. that meant, this little tease was all his.

"lights out, hot shot..."

he blinked and there was darkness. the kind of power he was familiar with. other senses heightened, though not wildly so. instead of heartbeats, there were scrambling feet. instead of sweat dripping, blood-spattered the pavement.

he tracked the man, counting on his darkness to have distracted him enough for a solid attack.

body heat. round the target. kick to the knee. arm around throat. choke the life out of him.

pray he can't fight it.

Jessica Marie|20 yo|Rebel Advisor|Shifter (Wolf) & Shadows|Entrance|Jasper, Akiko, Shinoto, Fireflies, Harrow

her eyes landed on akiko, who was speaking up and in a way she didn’t want to hear. Though she heard her out and a sinister smiled crossed her face, revealing the two sets of fangs. ”I suggest you start learning what we do and what ranks people are around here. We each have a job as important as the next. Since you don’t know. Let me help you. My job, right now, is to keep everyone safe. You get hurt. I need an excuse and if I don’t have an excuse, that makes me look stupid. Now if I have someone playing my role, how does that make me look? Incompetent, push over even? I don’t need someone playing as me and get someone else hurt. While I can accept the consequences of my actions, I will not take responsibility for someone who went behind my back.” her smile was slowing disappearing as was her patience. ”here’s some friendly advice for you, follow orders and keep casualties low. I don’t talk about my abilities but since you must know for someone who randomly showed up and caused some turmoil this morning, I have a shadow ability. While I know what was said in this conversation before I came over here, I also have multiple conversations going on that you can’t hear.” her pupils were still big as she stared at the female. that a girl. Don’t let her tell you how to do your job. Who is she? She could still be a spy. she scuffed softly as she turned away, letting the girl go off with shinoto. ”by the way, akiko-“ she turned her head over her shoulder to side eye the female. ”stay near base. You are still a recruit.”

Her head now turned back to fireflies. The anger now being redirected. and who is she? She tried to play you. I didn’t see milo go to her with your orders. Go handle your business. she held up her hand slightly to stop fireflies from talking. ”let’s get something clear. You aren’t me. Your orders don’t have any weight to them because you have no responsibility for everyone else while milo is away. Understand that. That’s the reason why you weren’t picked for advisor because you can’t follow orders given by higher rankings. The order is clear cut. No one leaves the base. Only soldiers can do patrols in the catacombs and with my approval. When milo returns, they can explain everything. I’m not trying to cause mass hysteria amongst everyone. Little information was filtered out which was we are on lock down. No one in. No one out with the exception with of soldiers. If you feel the need to challenge me, we can do this later once everything is over.” her face had fallen to a friendly expression, making her presence unnerving. Jess was known to be a firecracker, making her actions more unpredictable with her anger. ”anyone else have anything to question if I wasn’t clear enough? Anything to add? To keep it short. Follow orders. No one in. No one out, except soldiers. I shouldn’t need to explain this again. Ideally I would like milo and the group to return without any worry for us.”

Her eyes rolled over as she was growing bored of this group already. Though she needed to keep everyone safe and inside. She was silenting hoping that the group was ok and would return soon.

Since CS made me change my signature because they didn’t like that my officer died for someone bad, I hope he finds rest while others hate him for doing his job and sacrificing his life.

indent The officer couldn't help but smile at the image of a shorter Tish running around and practically bouncing off the walls. Sometimes in his dreams, Michael could remember the distant cry of a baby, but that was his only hint at having any siblings. All the other memories had been chipped away by the years of psychological conditioning that was required of inhuman children. But some of the other rebels can remember their families... Maybe I just had it worse? Without meaning too, his voice rang out in the now quiet room, "I think I had a baby brother once..." The man didn't realize that he had spoken until it was too late. OH NO! "My parents... uh, gave me up for adoption when I was little. I don't remember them much, except for our house. I can still remember the house." Trying desperately to think of a way to further recover from his first statement, Michael made up a few white lies about some foster family and that he didn't know why they didn't want him. White lies. That's how he reconciled it. They don't harm anything! They just... protect me! And the school was like some sort of deranged foster home? Biting his lip, Michael pushed himself up off the bed and began to pace around the room in an attempt to let the nervous energy out.

If anyone were to walk away from this fight, by now it was going in favor of the rebels. His shots hit children, men and women alike. He only hoped his messages were sent to those nearby. Luckily Pandora came to his aid and helped him with the three troublemakers occupying his time. He was gasping for air, breathing in and out heavily as he stood on broken feet and had one hand pressed against his neck as the other gripped the gun weakly. He staggered back, losing his balance for a moment as many error signs flashed in his head. He blinked wildly with the one eye that still worked, that was still in its socket. The android would’ve had an awful headache with the noises and colors racing through his mind like wild horses. It was awful. He was falling apart at the seams and there was nothing he could do about it.
He was about to slip his hand into his pocket to contact Wren again but she took the shot. It was so quick he didnt even realize what had happened in front of him. His eyes widened and the robot staggered back a bit more as the Rebel General themself stepped in front of the bullet and took it for Ansel. His eyes widened and all simulations were trashed. This wasnt right. This wasnt meant to happen!

He was breathing through damage, and listened as they spoke. Milo called out his sniper. Milo had a gun. Milo was one step further than TARS was. They fired the shot at him and it hit him square in the forehead. The android shook as the shot rattled him to the metal bones inside. He fell like a tree, collapsing to the ground as silver liquid dripped from his wound. That one was going to be a tough one to patch up. If he were to ever get up from this one.
Milo dropped him. He lay motionless for a good while. He was struggling to turn back on. His main systems were down and half of his body was just broke. A split second decision. He sent a message to SAM. ‘I’m sorry’ was all he sent before a quick reboot and the man was still. He was silent and limp, as if he were sleeping.
A little bit later and he slowly slipped a hand by his side, eyes closed and seeing nothing. Fingers gently touching the hilt of his machete. Suddenly leaning forward the android sprung back to life with as much ferocity as ever and swung the blade out
“You are weak! You always have been!” He shouted through gravelly sounding spit. He coughed and growled while his voice box seemed to be malfunctioning, and the hole in his forehead sparked.
Daylight could be seen through the other end.
“A foolish but heartfelt moment to take a bullet for the ignorant soldier. Perhaps I shall finish you off and let him follow?” He snapped while swinging his blade toward Milo’s neck

He was lounging in a speedo by the ocean. The waves were as blue as the sky and the sun was shining down giving him a wonderful tan. He was spread out on a towel and reading a very interesting action novel about a man trying to find the lost city of Atlantis. He was kicking his feet back and forth, every now and then sticking his big toe into the sand and wiggling it around. A lick to his thumb ans he turned the page. Starting at the top he was to continue reading but he heard a voice calling him. With a lift of his head he smiled up at a person standing in front of the sun, silhouetting their face and features. Upon squinting, they moved to the side and blinded him with the light of the sun. He hissed and covered his face. Nothing but bright white light in his face. Very annoying. He would have tried clapping but it probably wouldnt’ve turned off that way. Ya know.. clap on.. clap off..
Waking up with a start, the android blinked his eyes open and breathed in deeply. His eyes widened upon seeing the sky, and a few buildings. He was on the ground. This was not good. Leaning forward he came face to face with the librarian and he gave out a very high pitched shout
“OH-my goodness you .. gave me quite a fright..” he gasped while clutching his chest, noting the bandaged arm of his and raising a slight eyebrow. Panic mode engaged.
“Um.. well it was nice to have a little nap.. but I really do need to get going. See I was baking enchiladas and I have to go check on them in the fridge just in case the microwave goes off while I’m gone!” He chuckled weakly
“So I really must be going.. I’ll call you if my sleep paralysis demon tries to take my feet, alright?”
And with that he scrambled to try and get up and leave as quickly as possible.

Shinoto. Mentions:Shadows in Jessica’s mind

Shinoto had decided ever since Jessica left him a few minutes ago to read her mind and everything that goes on.He heard her listening to the voices, but he realized that she was following there orders. He bit his lip.He knows that wasn’t Jessica.Jessica is stronger than that to listen to the voices.Smarter too.Shinoto’s head started hurting. He decided to help Jessica right now,he knows she needs it.She’s going a little to far,the voices aren’t helping. He squatted down and was gripping his hair.He held his breath and was focused on Jessica’s head and the voices. He Closed his eyes then reopened them.He was standing on black water. He walked for a few steps and the scenery changed. Now he was in a snowy place. He looked around”Well aren’t you a complicated woman?”Shinoto smiled and kept walking. He saw a wolf,it looks exactly like Jessica when she transforms. He decided not to mess with it,it could do something bad to her.He kept on going and saw a few of her forms. He knew most of them because he’s known Jessica for a while, just never really talked to her before today. Then the place when dark.He couldn’t see ripples of water like before,he couldn’t see dust.He couldn’t see anything. Then he saw figures that had different colored glows to them.He heard one talking. It had a blood red glow.He walked 20 steps forward. He needn’t say anything. These were the voices. When he’s in this dark room type space,he could feel everything Jessica feels. But when he’s in here,he could feel something bright. He remembered that Jessica had Shadow Magic. So lighter magic must be a weak point. He tried to remember how to create light. When he’s in someone else’s mind he can have different powers. But once he exits,he can’t use them.Magic he uses here won’t effect anything else except the person he needs it for.So once these ‘shadow beings’get flashed they will be blinded. While he does that he will create more long lasting lights

But then he stopped.

He knows that he’s doing this for Jessica. But why?Why hurt himself for a girl he’s known for years but never really spoke to her until today. He’s known her since he joined the rebellion,he knows many things about her. He’s always had an interest in her.Her mind was beautiful to him.The only mind that he would sacrifice his own mind for.He felt like he could spend forever here. Then his eyes widened. That’s when he realized.

He liked her.

He knows many things, but how he likes her,he doesn’t know. He’s very intelligent with how minds and stuff work, but love and stuff was never a strong suit of his.He shook his head.He started generating light

Akiko. Mentions:Jessica,Shinoto,FireFlies

Akiko hadn’t heard what Jessica said to her because by the time Jessica had said it she was talking to Shinoto and wasn’t paying attention to her at all,so she didn’t hear anything Jessica said when she came over after Akiko said what was going on.Akiko watched Shinoto squat down. She decided to squat down next to him.She watched his expression change many times. Then he heard his voice”Akiko,I need electricity.Give me some, lots of it”Akiko smiled”Then that wouldn’t be some. But I understand.May I ask what’s going on?”Akiko thought back”I’m helping someone”Akiko sighed”That sounds about right, always helping others but forgets to take care of yourself. But I will start to generate electricity”She thought to him.She stood up and she held her own hand and held it across her chest. Her index fingers pointed up.She noticed metal pols that connected to Shinoto had appeared. She closed her eyes and was smiling.A ball of electricity was slowly growing until she had to hold her arms out because it was so big.She started transferring it to Shinoto’s polls.

Shinoto smiled when he started generating light. He was starting to get blind because his eyes were open so he shut his eyes and kept generating light.

FireFlies. Tags:Jessica

FireFlies rolls her eyes”I don’t know why they would pick someone so immature. Also,I do follow orders,I don’t know where you got that conclusion. At least no one just gets frustrated and runs off.I’ll have you know,I thought you weren’t coming back for a while so someone needs to step up.I don’t think any officers are here,as I saw when Milo put you in charge.I saw that doubt you had,I confirmed that you doubted yourself when you walked away.Sorry if my conclusions aren’t to your liking. But I won’t follow someone who doesn’t know what she’s doing and isn’t confident in her orders. So If you’ll excuse me,i’ll Be over there not wasting any more time on you when we could ALL be doing something more productive and something that’s actually contributing to our base right now.I do believe I have the best hearing out of the Rebellion”She pointed to her cat ears”But Of course,if you wish to misuse my abilities, fine, your loss. But i’ll Have you know, that I don’t take orders from you until you get your CRAP TOGETHER.Thank you and good day”She did a little bow with sarcasm and walked 5 yards away from the group and folded her arms.FireFlies’s tail was swishing around feeling the air and her ears were shifting every 10 seconds. It’s a rhythm she had made on the 2nd lock down she ever experienced in the Rebellion.

"dont you even think about it." aileen had wide eyes, but managed to grab a hold of kipps wrist before he got away despite the shock that her power actually worked on an android. "make one more move and i cut that hard drive right out of you," she said lowly, pulling kipp back closer to her. aileen spun him sideways to pin him against the wall, nails digging into the fake skin of his shoulder. "youve got a lot of explaining to do."
