Pari thought for a second... she was still confused. She didn't get why he wanted to go by a different name just because it sounded weird. I mean it's your name, your identity. Why would you change it? She decided to not say this out loud when she realized her race and job made her pretty hypocritical.
"If you wanna go by that name then do it. That only opinion that matters is your right?" She said going back to doodling on her paper.
"Also, I appreciate you telling me. We just met and I don't know if I deserve your trust quite yet, but thank you." She smiled still not looking up from her doodle.

The exceedingly large male looked at the school and let out a breath he had been holding for a few minutes. Today was his first day and he wasn't exactly ecstatic for the comings ahead. Bear was the strong quiet type and large crowded buildings typically weren't his thing. Already he could smell the aroma of the creatures within, centaurs, other wolves, even the undead. It made his nose wrinkle in anticipation and anxiety. He stepped forward, then again, letting his legs do the work that his mind couldn't. He needed to focus of school, nothing else. How he would manage the day was beyond himself, for now he'd focus on getting into the school first.

The slow and heavy hoof steps of Gridlock sounded clearly through the halls as the draft centaur walked by the passing classrooms. She honestly had no clue where she was or where she needed to go, the uncomfortable situation made her paranoia spring through the roof. Gridlocked tucked her hair behind her ear and feverishly played with her lip ring. She flicked her tail as she noticed the different people around her, how comfortable they looked. She sighed and just kept walking.
