The dog yipped and wriggled a bit, though it was out of happiness at the tummy rubs and the gentle humming. She attempted to wag her tail, which only kind of worked, but at least it kind of worked. She half shut her eyes a moment, as he cradled her and remained petting her belly. She continued to yip and wag her tail, though opened her eyes back fully when Jodie spoke...He watched the older boy shrug, tilting his head as he did so. His tail flicked gently, constantly, to keep him afloat as he wasn’t swimming. “Oh! I’m going to that class now too. We... could swim together, if you like...I mean! Well, you have my dog and...she’s calm in your arms..,” he sighed, then shrugged.

The sudden jerking upward of his fellow freshmen sent the rat flying. He crashed onto the floor below with the table being knocked to the wall opposite the desks. The Caracal form of Addison growling in his face to scare him. He shifted back in fear. He grasps his arm, sore from the fall. "Woah now.. Gah.. geez. Remind me not to prank you again." He rubs the painful area. That certainly hadn't gone as he'd planned. He felt the stares of classmates as the teacher cleared his throat. "Do I need to send you two to detention? I'll gladly do so."

"Right.. She answered as she brushed her hand off on her jeans. "I'm Clover" she returned hesitantly. She turned abruptly and began to walk down the halls once more. She had decided she wouldn't return back to class. Surely the teacher would fall for her trick of having horrible cramps again. She went down the end of the hall and quietly slipped out the exit.
