this roleplay is set in the 90s (so no iphones, social media, modern pop references, etc etc. i really want 90s vibes). the humans don't know the werewolves exist, but some are growing suspicious with the way certain students have been acting and some of the situations they've witnessed. more information regarding the types of people can be found on the [url]discussion thread.[/url]

humans
if you choose to be a human, you'll be in grades 9-12 (so ages 14-19). you don't have to remain a human for the entire roleplay; you can have someone bite you and turn you into a werewolf if you'd like. you can choose to be naive and clueless, hate werewolves with a passion (reserved for hunters), aid them in their plans. my goal is to make this as inclusive as possible. obviously, you can't go around killing them, but maybe you tell others of their existence, etc.

werewolves
if you choose to be a werewolf, you'll be in grades 9-12 (so ages 14-19). all of the werewolves will be in two packs which will be posted in the next post. naturally, the packs will be feuding, but that can be ended if the pack leaders get together and talk it out. humans may find out about you, but don't go around telling people what you are. you should be trying to keep this as secretive as possible. unfortunately, as a result of the fighting, a number of dead werewolves have been found in the woods in human form bearing teeth and claw marks. this means law enforcement is on the lookout for stray wolves.

Andover Clan
Named after the high school Andover High, the Andover clan is more accepting of a modern wolf clan. They believe that humans and werewolves can live in peace with one another and are less likely to hide their wolf. They have an alpha and two human friends who act as mediators when needed. Having formed only four years ago, they are considered babies in the werewolf world. They too, however, have people they don't want finding out: the sheriff department.

One of the first packs to form in Malibu, the Malibu clan believes that the old ways are the better ways. They've been around for centuries without fear of ever being exposed. Until, that is, the Andover Clan was formed. They've put their high school members in charge of dealing with the Andover's, wishing for another hundred years of peace and quiet without being discovered.
