"Bye." Corey waved and flipped the iron. "What does he do?" Corey finished his tea and took out the waffle. "One order for you, miss!" He said, pretending to be fancy. He looked at Chai and knelt down, putting out his hand for him to sniff it, and then sniffed his hand that he shook Elijah with to see what may have drove Chai off.

He tilted his foot and bent his head so he made a small bow. "You're welcome, madam!" Benjamin chuckled and smiled as she took the pancakes gracefully. He poured some more batter onto the waffle iron and turned it over. (Gap in time) Corey reclined his hand from the cat and sniffed it. It was extremely faint, but it faintly smelled of dirt. He stood up. "A girlfriend who likes uncooked meat? That's new."
