Olive looked around and back at August, concern in her eyes. She didn’t see or hear anything. Is this girl mad? she thought, and then felt bad thinking it, but who was she even talking about. “Uh.. who? There’s no one around but us. I hear no sticks cracking, no leaves rustling, and no whispers,” she said, searching the girls face for any clues as to who she was talking about.

Darren looked over to where the sound of the book fell and then looked at her “There’s an empty queen in the other room, and we aren’t going anywhere tonight, why don’t you just go catch up on sleep?” he suggested to her, standing up straight before walking into the living room and switching on the tv. “There’s no reason to deprive yourself of sleep,” he said carefully, making sure she had the sleep that she needed, especially to hunt later.

Alex listens carefully as the girl speaks before answering, "My names Alexandra but you can call me Alex. Its currently 2019." Alex thinks the guardian part over before sighing, "our kind has recently been discovered a couple of us have taken refuge here. We are all currently being tracked by hunters, and all of us supernaturals are taking up hiding to avoid a full out war." Alex sighs at this small recalling and flexes her clawed hands in a stress filled motion before letting her hand shift back to normal with a small wince of pain.

Antonia sighed, knowing that there was no use arguing with the male. "Night," she muttered with a huff she stumbled into the other room, falling onto the bed without taking off her shoes. The brunette was out like a light before her head even hit the pillow. A soft snore left her lips as she was sprawled across the bed.

Darren watched her go into his room before kicking his feet up onto the coffee table. He continued watching tv before his eyes basically closed on their own.

Cedric bit his lip slightly as they kept walking. There was surely no chance a human would be out here, would there? Especially considering how late it was - usually, they'd go out a bit earlier. He was starting to wonder if it would be worth the risk to wait until tomorrow for Lilith to feed, but she was insistent that they continued the search. And, if need be, they could easily run to the nearest human town, feed and come back again.

Now that she'd convinced herself that she was going to feed that night, nothing was going to stop her from doing so. She couldn't risk not doing so now. Besides, they also had powers to help them with this, so it was not as if it could take much longer. "Our enhanced agility and speed can help us get to the nearest town and back again easily. I'm not risking not feeding tonight." Lilith insisted to Cedric, making it clear that her mind was not about to be changed.

Antonia whined in her sleep as she rolled around on the bed. She didn't know what she was dreaming about, but she didn't like it at all. The brunette shot up with a gasp, a hand held to her chest as she tried to calm her breathing, not wanting to wake up Darren, wherever he was in the small cabin. She sighed as she stood up carefully walking into the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Darren at this point had situated into a laying down position on the couch, facing the tv and out cold. His left arm was bent with his hand under his pillow, and his right hand resting on his bicep as he slept. His brow furrowed as he dreamt.

After getting her drink Antonia turned around to find the Darren laying on the couch, out of it. Thinking for a second Antonia sighed as she went back into the room and pulled all of the blankets off of the bed and pulled them into the living room. Making a pile on the ground at the base of the couch, Antonia curled onto the floor. She felt much safer being near the male hunter than she was being in a completely separate room without any weapons. Soon she was as fast asleep as the hunter on the couch, her dreams actually slightly nice for once.

Darren twitched slightly in his sleep, his bad dreams returning from a point in his life that he chose not to talk about to anyone, he hadn’t gotten too close to anyone since. His mouth pressed into a frown as he slept, clearly having unpleasant dreams

Antonia's eyes opened slightly as she heard Darren moving around slightly. She sat up against the edge of the couch and looked at him to see his face scrunch up into a frown. She sighed as she gently, and carefully, lay her hand in his hair and began to comb her fingers through it. She started to hum softly, a lullaby that her father would sing to her when she had bad dreams. Actually both of these things were something he would do to calm her nightmares. She just hoped that it helped for Darren, and didn't make things awkward between them.
