➣Artemis had finally managed to trip the red headed woman and stood over her baring her teeth while growling. Jus then an arrow flew past Artemis's face with made her glance up to see another woman with a feline perched on her shoulder. Casey heard her dog stop barking but kept growling. She made her way behind a tree and pulled up her bandanna to hide her identity. With her bow at the ready, Casey came from behind the tree to see another woman with a cat readied with her bow as well. Mumbling under hear breath she managed to get a good look at the two woman and called her dog before taking off back the way she came from and began her run the long way home with her companion beside her.

Kai watched as an arrow flew past the dog's face and took its distraction as her opportunity. She crawled to stand up and looked back at the dog. The woman called her dog back to her and the two ran off. Kai looked over to Makota, the second in command of her group who had shot the arrow, "Yeah, I'm alright. I saw her in the woods and was trying to sneak after her but I stepped on a branch. I ran and her dog tripped me." Kai looked after the woman, making a mental note of which direction she ran off in. "I didn't think there were other survivors," Kai spoke to herself, "Do you think there are others with her?"

Makota watched the other girl run off, following her with her eyes before she ran a hand over Stark’s back to calm him. She placed the arrow that she has readied back into her quiver. “Mm. It’s possible. I suppose it’s possible that there’s another group besides ours.” she replied as she looked at Casey before she made her way to yank the arrow that had distracted the dog out of a nearby tree. “I don’t know how many others there are, or if they’re hostile. Best to not poke around while alone.” she added as she placed the arrow into her quiver. She motioned with her head in the direction of camp “Ready to head back?” she asked before throwing another glance in the direction that the stranger had run off in.

Kai nodded and began to walk back to camp. She furrowed her brow and thought of the possibility of more survivors. I never thought that there would be more, she pondered, I guess I never thought a zombie apocalypse could happen in my life time either. I guess I was wrong in both occasions. Kai glanced at her ankle while she walked. It was bleeding slightly from the dog nipping it but the dog didn't look rabid or infected. Still, she would treat it sparingly when she got back to camp.

➣Casey began to slow down to a walk as she tried to catch her breath from running. She wasn't far from her camp now, she judged about half a mile away as she kept walking exhausted. She took her bandanna down from her face and wiped the sweat from her forehead. Artemis kept a few paces ahead of Casey panting as she sniffed around and occasionally glanced back to check on her owner. Casey placed her bow on her shoulder and placed her arrow back in the quiver on her back. She then opened up her satchel to check if there was any more water left; there was none..just empty an empty water bottle.

It wasn't long until the cabin was in sight and she could see the fence where all of their crops, the water bins and the barn was located. Artemis barked a couple times before running around to the front of the cabin and awaited Casey to join her. The wman glanced back into the forest to see if there was anyone following her..thankfully not but she did spot a stray walker stumbling in the distance headed west. As she came around the front of the cabin and opened the door, Artemis ran inside and ran into the lounge to lay down on one of the few dog beds that were placed there for the animals. Casey walked in and glanced around not really seeing anyone as she closed the door behind her.

After a bit of walking, the Leopards’ base finally came into view. The base was an old mansion that belonged to some rich guy who didn’t want any neighbors so he placed it in the woods. Makota walked up to the front door, throwing a glance at her surroundings, wanting to make sure no one was watching before she went inside and held the door open for Kai. Once inside, Stark leapt from her shoulder and made his way directly to her bedroom.

Kai nodded as a small thank you to Makota for holding the door open. After entering the old mansion, Kai went to the medic station, one of the bathrooms in the place. Once inside, she cleaned her wound with as little disinfectant as possible and placed a bandage over the small bite. She tried not to use much of her medical supplies when it wasn't necessary. A small nip from a dog could get infected if she weren't careful, but she'd much rather save her supplies for emergencies. After wrapping up her ankle, she went to her room and flopped on the bed. She pondered the thought of others until she picked up a book to read for a while.

Arthur had grabbed an apple from a basket of freshly picked fruit from the kitchen and was now looking through what they had. He deemed that they had enough for now, though he was considering going out hunting anyway. It generally helped clear his mind of the thoughts he was having earlier and he felt like it was needed at the moment. Arthur took another bite of his apple and started to go back upstairs to gather his things and get dressed for going out. By the time he got to his room he had finished his apple. He put on some loose fitting black jeans, dark brown combat boots, and a dark grey shirt with a faded design. He had a hunting knife holstered on the side of his jeans. His crossbow was hooked over his shoulder and a lightweight bag was on his back, just in case he found anything. Arthur made his way back down the stairs and was about to leave when he heard the door open. The male walked towards the door, then cautiously peaked his head out to see who it was. He relaxed at the sight of their leader, only to tense up slightly when he saw her expression and the state she was in. He came into full body view as he spoke to her, "You alright there, boss?" There was a bit of concern in his voice despite his attempts to keep it from coming through.

➣Hearing a voice coming from inside the cabin startled Casey slightly since she wasn't expecting anyone to be inside; it was only Arthur to her surprise. "I'm alright." Casey said as she made eye contact with the man noting that his voice seemed somewhat concerned. She took off her satchel and sat it down by the door and returned her gaze to Arthur to finally realize he looked like he was about to head out. "Where are you headed?" Casey questioned in a calm tone. The woman knew he was a man of few words but she also knew he wouldn't lie to her. Artemis had gotten up from the dog bed and made her way to Casey and Arthur before she scratched at the door and glanced up at Casey. Glancing down at Artemis, Casey opened the door and waved her hand motioning Arthur to follow her outside. "If you plan on heading out I need to speak to you about what I came across in the forest." she added as she followed her dog outside and left the door slightly opened just in case Arthur had to grab something else before he left.

The male had relaxed every so slightly when Casey admitted to being alright, but it didn't last long. Arthur's eyebrows went up slightly when the other wanted to speak about whatever she came across in the forest. He wondered briefly what she may have come across, mentally crossing his fingers that it wasn't anything horrible. He hoped that it was just some infected she was going to tell him about and nothing else. Though Casey knew he could handle himself around walkers, the only time he's ever had her mention something to him before hunting was when a small horde that had been passing through. He wasn't so sure what else she could've discovered besides...well- the male would rather not go down that path. He made sure he had everything before following the woman outside. "Was going hunting." He answered her question from earlier while closing the door behind him. Arthur silently prayed to himself that she wouldn't ask about him hunting when their food stock was already well off. He didn't want to admit the true reasoning behind him wanting to be out for a little while. "What did you discover? Is it another horde?" He asked, voice tense now with concern. His eyebrows furrowed slightly while speaking and a frown was present. The male's focus was solely on Casey now.
