Illyria glared at the sugar glider who had winced himself, then he sat up and stared boldly at her. His brown eyes unblinking. They had a minor staring contest before Ria signed and shook her head, turning to look back at Lurene when he spoke.
Her gaze flashed to the ground, she felt her doubt becoming to poke at her again. 'no way we wouldn't be friends?'. Pudding groaned, covering his head with his tail. 'Just accept it and let's move on!' he snorted.
Ria mumbled a soft 'shut up' under her breath before giving Lurene a smile. "Now that we have all those icky feelings out of the way," she joked softly. "Lets try catch up, hm? How long have you been here?" she moved forward, hesitantly.

Nova twitched her ears up when Alyssa spoke. 'She's lying. Nyx made no move to look at the leopardess. 'I know.' but he smiled reassuringly at Alyssa. Nova flattened her ears slightly, she didn't want to press on the subject but at the same time she did, she wanted to know if she could make Alyssa more comfortable.
She didn't get the chance though, when Melisandre introduced herself Nyx did flinch slightly but Nova reassured him by touching her nose to his hand. But she was still watching Alyssa corner of her eye. 'she's still very tense, isn't she?' worry slipped through her thoughts to Nyx, the boy who had been watching the small group, more specifically the girl as if trying to figure out why they freaked Alyssa out, looked down at her before glancing at Alyssa and Ragnar. Quickly he turned his attention away. 'Everyone is. We've all been on the run Nova.'
The leopardess snorted and moved to stand beside Alyssa, brushing against her leg in an attempt to reassure her. Nyx had turned his attention back to Melisandre and tilted his head slightly. He came to the conclusion that she must be the one in charge here, maybe even the one who made the safe house. Or a descendant. He glanced around, searching for her Bonded. After not finding it, or one that was near her he counted the animals in the clearing, as well as the humans before noticing they were short one.
Doubt began to bubble in his stomach. What if this was a trap? What if those bonders were working with the woman and she was a hunter? He swallowed, shaking off the thoughts, raising a hand to tap on his bag, then the girl riding the moose spoke, he thought the girl she was holding was simply asleep but now that he actually looked he could see that she was injured. He bit his tongue, concern bubbling up and washing away the doubt.
If he could help, he would, but until he could figure out what to do, he would remain here. Waiting. Again.... Fun.
