Melisandre Cirwedh
The red-haired woman gazed around at the large group of people gathering at the entrance of the safe house and put on a warm smile despite her worry and spoke to the group in a loud but warm and gentle voice. "Welcome to the safe house. My name is Melisandre." She knew her hopes to search for Odahviing were lost now, there were too many new bonders, she couldn't dump them all on Ben to run hopelessly around the forest searching for a lost dragon. "If you'll all follow me inside, you can clean up and I'll answer any questions you may have," Melisandre let her words sink in as she slowly gazed around the group, searching for their approval.
Jason Alex Haley
Fallen
Jason reluctantly nodded in response to Everest’s demand. He felt foolish honestly and it wasn’t a feeling he enjoyed. First, he injured his ankle on a stupid tree root, not even something dangerous or impressive. A damn tree root! Then he collapsed into the safe house and relied on these two girls to care for him and now he’d just made one of them cry for his own stupid, selfish enjoyment. The boy didn’t look up as Everest crossed the room to join Sage at the door. He didn’t even brace himself for the attack he knew would ensue upon the doors opening.
Odahviing
Odahviing picked up his flight pace as the hunters appeared above him in the sky but knew he couldn't hit his potential speed or he'd risk abandoning the humans below him. Suddenly he veered left, away from the direction of the safe house. If he led these boys to the safe house with the hunters hot on their trail he'd be putting the security of the safe house in jeopardy. They'd have to head deeper into the forest in hopes of shaking the persistent hunters.
We aren't going to the safe house, Odahviing answered Shultz, giving him a moment to process his words, hoping the other creature would understand the situation.
(there's only one entrance or exit to the safe house btw)
Ryan Jay Hunter
Ryan collapsed backward, the force of the hilt crashing against his skull sent his head spinning. He lay on his back for a moment, waiting for the pain to pass. The boy sat up slowly and furrowed his brow, looking at the girl. “Ow?” He said in a tone that seemed to be asking ‘what was that for?’ Ryan gingerly rubbed his injured head, glancing nervously at the girl, half expecting another attack from her. In the back of his mind, he knew that if he screamed loud enough the hunters he was with would come and they would finish this silly bonded girl but honestly he really didn’t want to do that. Besides, she’d already had at least two opportunities to kill him and she hadn't yet so perhaps she didn’t intend to.
