"It's Tarot, it's my little special way of getting to know people without all the awkward chatter..." He addressed Hisao as he chuckled to himself.
"Now, close your eyes and think hard about one topic; yourself" he lifted his own hands up and hovered them over the table slightly, his fingers shaking as he concentrated.
"Do not think about anything else while touching the cards, do not lose focus... Yeah?"
A white furry face poked up and a tiny paw followed. Jed gently booped it off the table.

eliot slid away with a flick of his hand. his feet led him. he walked towards the doors of the sanctuary. to his surprise he saw a group of other occupants of the househould. he still hadn't met anyone else other than xander and jace. he tried his best to slip past them into the entrance hall of the sanctuary.

Nessa closed her eyes and focused on clearing out anything from her mind that wasn't about herself. Which seemed like somewhat of a challenge because she was constantly worrying about other things, but she managed to do it. "Yeah."

Maybe Kayla had just had it easy, since before coming to the sanctuary the only thing she'd known was life at her house. Meaning, abundant time to watch TV and use her powers freely and just play around. No job, homeschool, and no worries about danger until recently. Maybe other people didn't have time to watch Disney Channel?

stella raised a hand to put a lock her hair behind her ear. her eyes darted at the ground, her neck growing red as the moment progessed. i was more or less brought up with humans. my father was a firefighter and my mother was a famous laywer for both the supernatural world and the human. although, as a kid and teenager i wasn't really exposed to much of the supernatural part. my mother considered it dangerous for me. although i was strictly human based, i wasn't allowed electronics nor access to a tv with that disney you speak of. she looked up for a brief moment. i'm sorry, this sounds like i'm attention seeking, my apologies!

Xander didn't seem to notice that Eliot slipped away, or rather, anything at all. Xander just stared into the distance, almost unsure about whether or not there are even good humans in the world anymore. As he was staring off into the distance, a thought popped in his head. What if I educate the humans some? he thought, smiling a bit.

scatty (Open) opened her bedrooms door a crack only to find that she was being to timid for her kind and she pulled the door open wide to here the voice of this house and she made her way towards the kitchen to ask for food with difficulty, not knowing where she was going.

"Awkward chatter?" Hisao perked a brow at that, his hand subconsciously going to point to his chest as though asking the silent question 'Am I awkward chatter?' With a shrug, his worry was forgotten as he didn't really expect an answer to that, what with both participants concentrating on.. whatever it was they were doing. Instead, he watched the pair continue, head tilted in interest and a large grin on his face.
"I think I've heard of this but I've never seen it in action! Do you tarot anyone? How long have you done it?" His questions continued, his attention completely distracted from the single individual in the distance wanting to quietly pass by. Hisao certainly wouldn't notice a thing!

He, however, did snicker some as he noticed the small furry intruder was booped from the table. Leaning down, he held out a hand and brushed his fingers and thumb together in the hopes of attracting the creature to him. If no one minded, of course!

They'd want her and Tatum to go to another sanctuary. And maybe that was the rational thing to do to protect herself and her little sister, but she honestly didn't want to leave.

"Lets go," Declan said to Lexi. Lexi jumped down deftly from the wall and walked toward the trees. She followed him through the forest for a while, hanging back further and further until he was gone and she could turn around without him seeing. There was no way she was going to go back and sit around just because she'd 'misbehaved.' She wasn't a child. As she walked, she pulled out a makeup wipe and wiped off 'Isabelle's' makeup. She changed her appearance from Isabelle's long blonde hair and blue eyes to brown hair and dark brown eyes. She put on a pair of glasses with round frames from her pocket. They weren't prescription, of course, but it wasn't like they had any reason to doubt her when she looked like a stranger. She scanned the yard of the sanctuary from up in a tree. There was a lion, that siren guy laying on the ground, Nessa, and a few people she hadn't seen from before.
