Nevada looked up from her book and then to Marie, who was standing in the doorway, "What's up with her?"
"She pulled an ice chunk out of her arm," Marie stated, "I think it did more harm than good. She should've just left it there. It would've melted."
"Well, aren't you the nurse-in-training?" Nevada chuckled.
Marie gave her the evil eye, "Remember who saved what's left of your arm?"
"Yeah, yeah," Nevada turned back to her book, "I was just joking."
"Like you usually do," Marie looked over at Pierre, who had passed out with Conor again. Fighting the snow beast this morning must've been really tiring for him. The more Marie thought about it, the more she realized that she was exhausted. Everyone was keeping her busy, from Damien's leg to Klink's arm. Marie looked over to Nevada, "I'm going to go to bed."
Nevada glanced over to Marie as she picked up her blanket from off the floor, "Goodnight, you dork. I'll keep watch until Pierre gets up."
"Thanks, Nevada," Marie bundled up in her blanket and laid down in her cot. Nevada kept an eye on the bathroom door. She could see that Marie's hands were stained with now-dried blood. Klink's injury must've been pretty bad for Marie to have blood on her hands.
