(TL;DR. Could someone summarize what happened for me?)

With the recent announcement of the breakout of the broken and shifters, Myron had gone upstairs to Nina's studio to tell her about it. "Nina," Myron knocked and opened the door, "There was something on the news. The shifters and broken got out. How are doing?"
Nina continued painting on the canvas that was spattered with tons of different colors, "I could be better, now that you tell me. Where are they?"
"The news recently said they were headed to the mountains," Myron entered the room and sat down on a chair next to Nina.
"Wonderful," Nina sarcastically replied, "Just brilliant. What color do I have right now?" She picked up a tube of paint, which had no Braille written on it.
Myron gently took the tube from Nina's hand and read the label, "American rose."
"Is it a light rose or a dark rose?" Nina asked as Myron passed the paint back to her.
"It's a dark red-pink," Myron looked at the the other paints that Nina had placed next to her, "Do you want a leaf color?"
Nina unscrewed the lid of the tube and squeezed it onto the palette in her lap, "Leaf lettuce, specifically. You said it was a good color for plants, right?"
"Yes it is. Do you want me to put the palette for you?" Myron asked.
"It's alright, Myron," Nina smiled, "I can do it. Just put it in my lap next to the palette. Could you go back and see if there's anything else on the news?"
Myron smiled, "Of course." He bent stood and then leaned over to kiss Nina on the forehead. "I love you, Nina," he said before exiting the room.
"I love you too, Myron," Nina squeezed the paint onto the palette and picked up her brush and began to try and paint a rose.
