Echo threw up her hands. "Oh yeah cause you're in much better shape! This morning you looked dead! And what did I say about touching me?!" The girl pulled her hand away again and pressed it up against her side to slow down the bleeding. It didn't feel too bad and the ice had most likely just grazed her. "I chose you because I figured you'd fight the least." she mumbled. Now she had a choice to make. Either make a break for it or follow after this hero. It was unlikely that it was a trap. She hadn't told anyone about escaping the villain base and she doubted he had any communication with anyone else. It was more Echo's pride and defiance that was preventing her from immediately following. However, she was also a survivor and Calvin had a point. Heading out alone while she was mostly drained and injured could turn into a suicide mission. I cannot believe these are my options. "Fine. I'll go with you but on one condition. No more of that caring crap. I don't wanna hear so much as one sappy or flirty comment escape from your mouth. Got it?" Slowly, she forced herself to continue following the hero, keeping an eye on their surroundings in case they were being watched. By now, they were pretty far from the villain base. However, she knew that those like her were persistent and relentless at times. Hopefully this wasn't the case. It's not like Calvin was one of their VIP prisoners. The main thing she was concerned about was her mentor. She could see her hunting them down like rabbits in a rabbit hunt. Hopefully the cabin was hidden well enough that it would buy them a good amount of time. Echo turned and waved her hand again, continuing to cover their tracks as they moved.
