Echo glared at Calvin when he made another comment. “I will still knock your teeth out.” The girl stated and flexed her wrists. “You wanted me to stay so I should be asking you. What’s up? As you’d say?” At this point though, she had other reasons for talking with him than just her own personal enjoyment. “You’re not my first choice for a conversation but considering it’s either you or an irritated villain authority figure, I decided I’d much rather waste their time and make the authority figure wait a bit.” Rebellion had always been something that ran deep within her veins. At least, rebelling against those that she could barely tolerate. “But since you asked, why do you look like crap? You obviously haven’t even tried to preserve yourself while down here. I thought heroes were full of hope and what not.” She scratched at the thick scar on her face, trying to soothe the scar tissue that still bothered her from time to time. It drove her insane at times. Echo leaned back in her chair, vaguely intrigued to here from a prisoner’s perspective. All of the heroes she’d met had either tried to kill her or vice versa. Having a civilized conversation with one was almost unheard of. She looked over her shoulder when one of the prisoners tried to bang their tray on their cot frame, trying to get some intention or maybe pass the time. The people down here are mad. she thought and rolled her eyes at the captive before turning to look back at Calvin.
