He in truth was phased by the word friend. He didn't know what they were, but perhaps best friend could have been used?
He watched as the male stepped forwards and he smiled while taking the opportunity to kneel down and hug the other. It was close and cuddly while he hummed happily
"You're the bestest friend I could ever ask for!" he squeaked while nuzzling into the other's neck. Then he realized how close he was being and let go, backing up and getting to his feet with a slight stagger
"Ach.. dangit.."
He rubbed his eyes, wiping tears from his cheeks while smiling and chuckling
"Nobody's ever done this special for me! I can't thank you enough.." he sighed and watched the male in front of him
"I'm sorry for crying.. I look stupid, don't I? I do.. probably.. dangit.. I'm so sorry..."

Nathaniel took the apple with a smile. It looked good, as it was a bright red color. Though Sagittarius was a grown man, he was very childish and had more of an older brother vibe to him. He didn't treat any of the younglings as underlings or more immature than him, but as people much like himself. He did seem to take most responsibility over all of them when he speaks to them. Though Nathaniel knew well that Sagittarius hadn't been addressing him when talking of training, he listened in anyway. He watched as the older centaur pulled out a marvelous bow. A piece of work that took Nathaniel a few seconds to process. He couldn't make a bow like that in a million years, or so he thought. It was made of marble and carved carefully. Though Nathaniel had barely ever made bows, he thought that they were relatively easy to make if you were making a simple one out of wood. Relatively nice carvings inside a bow took a long time if you were skilled. A bow made of marble would take a very long time to carve, especially without any sharp and efficient carving tools. Nathaniel guessed that Willow might have helped make the bow, though he didn't know. If anything, Sagittarius probably borrowed some tools from Willow to carve the bow out of the hard marble. "Woah! What a bow! Can I come training with you guys? If might help me learn how to make better bows and stuff, so if I come than I might be able to make you guys some new bows!" Nathaniel asked enthusiastically.

After a long bath, Sage got dressed and smoothed her white top. Sage looked up onto the jumping point and saw many younger centaur gathered at the ledge. Heading up to see what was the matter, Sage was hit by mist and water as she trotted her way up the hill. "Excuse me, but what's... going on? There are so many people here, I just thought something might be happening... " Sage asked, seeing Sagittarius' distinct hair through the thick mist. Smaller, younger centaur were also gathered there. In fact, those were the majority of the group. Her ash blonde hair shone blonde like her daughter's in the sun, despite it being hidden behind the trees. She could tell the faces of many of the children. There was Rocky, Kasper, Dante, and Nathaniel. She couldn't quite see all of the details of the faces of the children, but she could see the basic figure of them all. Sage smiled warmly at the children, looking back at Sagittarius as she awaited an answer.

Amy listened to her partner as her voice drew weary. The monarch held her partners hand close and was reassuring to Chaya that everything would be okay. As Vale spoke his tone was cold, as per it usually was. Amy was happy to not be the one always be the speaking and barking orders. But suddenly she seemed to be the one left out of the conversation. Furrowing her brows subtly, Amy disliked the idea of Chaya going into the Dead Wood.

As Marigold raced off, Dexter noted as he wafted a face full of her tail and he frowned as he raced after her. As they leapt into the water their legs being drowned in the icy cold water. As they trotted out of the water, Dexter saw Aurora and furrowed his brows "Yes she seems to be in a hurry to get somewhere that's for sure."

"Really? Wow! Maybe I could make something like that someday."Nathaniel was slightly at a loss for words as he examined the bow that Sagittarius had told him he could observe. "Maybe if I had a bow to study, than I could have an easier time making one from examining the pre-crafted bow. And glazed rock spike is what you made it from? Wow, that stuff is pretty hard to come by, considering many caves have been absorbed into the abyss that is the Cold Nothing." Nathaniel sighed. It was true that materials or any sorts were harder to come by than most might assume, though they wouldn't be running out of materials for a very long time. The bow was really something, though. "And a shooting style that could benefit from a specific bow, huh? Sounds like something I could make with enough skill in the making of bows. Arrows aren't something that I've ever dabbled in making, so maybe having an arrow would help, even if it's strangely shaped." Nathaniel laughed. He then noticed the older centaur. She seemed to make Sagittarius straighten, most likely due to Sage being older. Of course, Sagittarius was still friendly and calm despite everything, and greeted Sage with a smile as he greeted everyone. Of course, he also offered her an apple as he did when he had extras on him. That was just Sagittarius, really. Nathaniel simply waved at Sage, as to not distract him from his focus on the bow.

"Really? I was never afraid of the water, though when the currents got fast and it was more like white water, it scared me a little bit. Then I had my daughter and it was harder for me to have fun and jump into the water like I would've. Speaking of which, I feel like I should jump more often. It is a childish activity, though, isn't it? As scared as I eventually was, I never remembered you were never afr- I mean, you were quite afraid, now weren't you?" Sage smiled at the children, Sagittarius included, and bit her tongue as she realized what Sagittarius had been trying to do. "I see. And an apple, you say? Of course!" She laughed and took the apple, taking a bite into it. The apple was ripe, with a sweet taste, and it wasn't mushy, so it seemed quite ripe. "Oh, I'll watch, if I can." Sage laughed at Sagittarius' mistake. Of course, she thought that it was cute. He seemed like such a child sometimes, Sage found. Taking another bite of her apple, Sage awaited Dante's approval- or disapproval - as mist flew and hit her without making a thick wall and preventing her from seeing anything.
