Quinn was sitting at a table in the foyer. The foyer was a popular hang out spot in the middle of the academy, the whole thing was free for everyone to move about but the Villains tended to stay on the villain side while the Heroes stayed on their side. Of course there were those few brave souls who went over to the other side to say hi to an old friend from childhood, but otherwise the sides remained split. She rolled her eyes as a fight broke out between a hero and villain and continued to shuffle her deck of cards. She began humming a small tune to herself as she began sorting the cards.

Lindy was standing at a podium in the auditorium, she was reading over the speech she would be delivering alongside the head of the villain academy. He wasn't there which kind of annoyed her, she liked when people were on time for events. She picked up the papers and piled them neatly into a stack before muttering the words over and over again trying not to miss anything.

Jake sat alone in the far corner of the hero side of the foyer, he had spotted his friend Quinn sitting alone as well. He decided not to go talk to her since he spent a majority of his year last year being bullied by other heroes because he 'talked with the enemy'. He sighed and began to play with the vines on the wall of the building making the tendrils grow towards him and wave their stems as if they were saying hello. He rested his hand on his head watching the vines grow.

Robyn strolled into the foyer, keeping her head down a bit as she walked slowly past a group of heroes. It was still a bit strange, having a place where both groups could hang out. Sometimes she wished they could all talk and mingle with each other, get to know one another, not have to deal with sideways glances and awkard passings, but it all seemed unlikely. They were like two different planets, distant, unreachable. Still... Robyn saw Quinn, another villian, sitting at a table on the villains side, and headed there. “Hi,” she said, standing next to the table. "Can I sit here?"

Benjamin skipped into the foyer, putting on a sunny smile. Benjamin looked about cheerily, taking in the people in the foyer. He was so excited! His application to this school had been accidental, as he had done the application as a joke, a bought of silliness that he thought nothing would come of. Benjamin had been knocked off his feet when he learned the application had been accepted. He’d been worried, but he’d been encouraged to go by his family. Benjamin rapidly shook his head, breaking out of his brief bought of reflection. He looked around the room, looking for a place to sit.

Athena was sitting at her table in the foyer, looking at her nails. She remembered orientation from last year, so she wasn't too excited about it this year. She was excited to meet new people, make new friends and memories, and exceed in her classes. She scans the room and spots a tall, pale boy with short, light brown hair that sticks out as if he just had an electric shock. He stood out with his worn clothing and comfortable style, and seemed friendly enough. She should go and introduce herself, as others had did for her when she began her first year at this wonderful establishment. She stood up, dusted her fashionable clothes and walked towards him confidently.

"Hi there! My name is Athena," she introduced herself. "You seem new. What's your name?"

Benjamin hadn’t noticed the girl until she’d gotten close, and she had startled him. He turned to her, still smiling “Oh! Hi! I’m Benjamin, And yea I’m new! Like really new! As in I-have-no-idea-what’s-going-on-new! Nice to meet you Anthena!” He said quickly. She seemed quite a bit more relaxed then he was. “Are you an upperclassman? Oooo!! What’s your power? Hero alias? Do you know what’s going on? I’m more than a little lost.”He said, grin gaining a sheepish edge to it. He hadn’t checked the school site, or the map, or anything else, because of the accidental application. He really didn’t know a lot about the academy other than the fact it trained Heros, and that it had rather high standards.

Athena chuckles. She could tell Benjamin had first day jitters, just like her when she first started.

"Yeah, I'm a sophomore," Athena said proudly. "This is my second year. Right now, everyone's wait for orientation to start. It's when the two headmasters give a speech and stuff. Oh, that gives me an idea, I can show you around after orientation!" She started to get a little excited at the thought if helping Benjamin navigate the huge campus, but she calmed herself down.

"I have two powers, gravity control and extreme luck," Athena continued. "My extreme luck factor is a bit complicated though. I usually only activate it in dire circumstances, because it drains a lot of my energy. Gravity control is my main power, and I use it to warp the gravity levels around an object. That's just fancy talk for I can levitate anything. Here, I'll show you!" she took out a small coin from her pocket, and put it in the center of her palm. she concentrated on it for a moment, and soon after the coin was suspended a few inches above her palm. She let out a small laugh, making the coin weave between her fingers. She stops concentrating, and the coin falls back into her palm. She slips it back into her pocket, and looks up at Benjamin.

"Cool, right?" Athena smiled brightly. "Oh, and my alias is Clover. Anyways, what's your power?"
