indentationHarley let out a soft laugh at his mis-traslation, moving to stand in front of him she moved her hands swiftly in sign as she spoke, "No, I can take the couch, it's probably gonna be really uncomfortable for you on the couch," She gave him a suggestive shrug after she'd finish her sentence. She threw off her light yellow hoodie and tossed it into the coffee table near the middle of the room, and gently tossed her phone onto the counter where a microwave and such sat, and below the counter was a small empty fridge, though she wasn't very hungry.
indentationSitting on the floor, criss-crossing her legs and leaning against the bed frame she pulled out the hair-tie that held her hair in a messy bun, allowing her hair to fall to the middle of her back, she ran her hands through it to get a majority of small naps. "What do you want to do tomorrow?" She asked, hands moving in sign.

She couldn't imagine what she had done to these people, but really she was just following orders. The yells and screams of fleeing kids. She couldn't help but feel this is her fault she told them where they were hiding. As long as no one found out maybe she would be able to forget this. If she was so lucky. She heard the pain in his voice, she did that. She brought them here. Had she made a mistake in coming back? Did she mess up bringing them here? She heard him introduce himself. Mishka. Sounded Russian to her but she wasn't going to be around long enough to get to know anyone, she would get him help and make herself scarce. But decided that she would at least tell him her name. "I'm Riley. I'm new in a way I guess. And no you don't need to thank me. It's okay. And I hope the doctor healer thing will be able to help." She spoke quickly jumping over words. She didn't want to say the wrong thing or have him distrust her. She got up to the door of the house and paused for a moment trying to weigh her options but grunted softly as she reach the door handle and yanked open the door before tugging him along. Hoping he'd give her some sort of direction.

Jane Doe
25 yrs / Deer Hybrid / Male / Tags: Harley
────────────────────
Jane blinked and the next thing he knew she was standing in front of him and signing about taking the couch.
“Oh.. okay.. sorry about that.. I guess I.. misheard you.” He coughed while rubbing the back of his neck with a shrug. He sat there and watched as the lady threw her jacket down and sat nearby, letting her hair down. His eyes widened a little and he watched her hair. It looked so soft, all he wanted to do was run his hands through it. He bit his lip and felt his cheeks heat up slightly
He was then quick to notice her response, and he leaned forwards a little
“Oh, I was going to tell you that theres a fair going on nearby tomorrow. Its like medieval style, I figured we could attempt to fit in and go walk around for a little..?” He suggested
“It is in the daytime..”
He bounced his leg on the ground softly
“Would you be interested in going with me?”

Mishka Khabarovski
28 yrs / Were-Bear / Male / Tags: Riley
────────────────────
Mishka went silent. He wanted to thank her and thank her, and thank her, but she wouldnt allow it. He hadnt expected help, he was ready to die out there under the tree. But he was in so much pain now, his side was killing him. Literally.
Once inside the house he staggered after Riley, gazing around the shabby looking building he shook his head.
“There is no doctor here. None of us know how to heal.” He sighed while breaking off from her and flopping down onto the couch. He seethed in pain, moving to sit up and remove his shirt so that he didnt have to deal with it anymore. At least whatever was left of it, anyways. The big man put a large hand over most of his wounds to try and stop the bleeding. It was futile, he already knew he was going to die here.
“Only one who would know how to heal is David.. but I cannot move anymore. His room is on second floor.. up the stairs.”
He looked in pain, and he looked weak. He himself had come to terms with his ending and had laid his head back on the couch. Only a real doctor could help them but even then, that would mean risking their freedom with getting caught

indentation She nodded as she listened to him speak about the fair, "Yeah, I'd love to," She smiled, " I'm sure I could pull off an archer of some sort? Since that is kinda what I work with at home, a bow an' arrow," She shrugged, she'd gotten use to signing as she spoke and it seemed to become a natural reaction when she talks now. She never thought to learn sign until a couple years ago when he father fell deaf after a work-related accident, and to think, that now, she's beginning to use it daily.
indentation " I have money on me, tomorrow we should probably shop for an outfit so we don't stand out to much," She let out a soft laugh, shifting a little to resettle herself. Harley sighed and parted her hair to braid it, using the two hair - ties, that once held her hair in a bun, to tie the bottom on her two braids, laying them contently over her shoulder as she stood back up to grabbing her phone from the granite counter and returning to her spot by the bed-frame.

mood somber

a bear? uriel frowned, knitting his dark brows. there must have been a humanoid with
the ability to shift, or even worse, stuck in a bear-like form. he made a mental note of
such--his short-blade wouldn't be of too much use against a creature like that. no
wonder the damage had been so great, and... well, he supposed describing the wounds
as a mauling hadn't been far off, after all.

he moved back, just a bit, as kristian turned toward him, and immediately his heart
sank. saying the man's arm was mangled was probably an understatement. even though
uriel hadn't been able to get very far in his training as a surgeon, it didn't take a prof-
-essional to see that there wasn't much that could be done for such a gruesome injury.
"oh..." he breathed, voice hollow and somber, mouth dry at the sight before he
swallowed. for a moment, he said nothing, heart pounding in his ears, before he
glanced about, then pulled over the chair he had been perched on.

"here. sit down." he breathed, grabbing an extra towel and offering it to the doctor to
staunch the bleeding. "i... i can help you stitch it up, but the nerves, a-and that kind
of thing... it might get infected so easily and..."
he didn't want to say it, but he could
not help the thought as it echoed in his head. was it even worth trying to save?

Tommy sighed and listened to Echo speak. What with the way she was jumping from sentence to sentence, he could clearly tell how lost she was feeling. It would be the perfect moment to bring up some genius plan to get them both out of trouble and back on their feet; but this wasn't a movie, and there were no plans from here. Glancing back to the entrance of the cave, he tucked his hair behind one ear as to not let it block his vision and took a step towards the outside. "It'll all be fine. Somehow. I'm just going to go make sure there's no one... lurking about outside. Maybe this cave is still safe after all, in which case we'll just stay here for as long as possible." He told her, still speaking in a hushed tone. He tried his best to sound calm and collected, but still came off uncertain. There was no hiding his fear or worries at this point, and he'd just have to come to accept that he wasn't some fierce and mighty protector. He was just Tommy, a guy that obviously had a bad habit of loading too much onto his plate at once.

Inching towards the outside of the cave, he leaned forward and narrowed his eyes. Once he deemed it safe enough, he walked fully outside and turned around so that he could see all around them. It did look safe, not much was moving around except for small wildlife. He took a few steps backwards, eyes darting everywhere. The forest was really pretty, it was a shame that he didn't get to enjoy it more. What with all the events that occurred inside this place, he'd probably never be able to enjoy the relaxing scenery... well, ever. So he granted himself just a minute or two to stand out here and pretend like nothing ever happened.

It really did seem like the world was against him though. Just out of sight, there was a man hiding in the brush that Tommy foolishly looked over, who had had his eyes on the man the whole time. In the midst of the one moment Tommy took to relax since he first found Echo, the man jumped him. If Tommy hadn't of flinched and reacted immediately, he would have had a knife in the heart; but instead, there was a knife sticking out from his upper arm. His body and mind in shock, he shoved the man away and onto the ground before clutching his new wound and groaning in pain through gritted teeth. The other man returned quickly to his feet, charging at Tommy. He tried to back up and away from the man, but tripped over a tree root and tumbled onto the ground, instinctively using his wounded arm to catch himself. Crying out in pain, at this moment all he could do was desperately try to get away from the man. His body was so tired though that it almost felt easier to just give up.

"Hey, I wasn't! I don't scare easily." That couldn't be farther from the truth. While he got into a lot of mischief with a lot of different people all the time, he was still a pretty big scaredy-cat. Looking at Crowley and studying his face, Ezra could tell from the way he was acting that he wanted to say something but didn't know how. "What? He said, furrowing his brows. He then remembered the group Crowley had mentioned being apart of previously, and how he was only really out here to do a job for them. "Oh yeah. You probably need to run back to your uh.. friends, or family or whatever." It was a strange feeling to not want someone to leave. It wasn't often that Ezra wanted people to continue socializing with him. Usually he was always looking for a way out. "I mean... what if I wanna meet your... 'group' ?" He didn't. He REALLY didn't in fact. He didn't want to be apart of it in the slightest, and he realized this just as he offered to. "Or I mean, you could help me with my light powers instead or whatever. It doesn't like, matter to me really." He rambled on, moving his gaze away from Lee.

Jazmine heard a shout from out front. She stumbled to the front door, her eyes widening at the sight before her. "Alyssa? What's going on? Who's that with you?" Her eyebrows pulled down in anger, but her eyes showed clear worry. "This isn't the time to bring over loner friends, but I guess the situation calls for it." She took in a breath to call for Micheal, and immediately curled over into herself. "Go find Micheal, he'll deal with this." Jaz slunk down against the doorway, holding a hand to her stitched up stomach.

    RISTEN WHEELER
    .tagged; alyssa, kita, jazmine, michael
    .location; the house

indent the teen looked at her older friend, her eyebrows knit with worry and frustration. "and you promised me you'd say if it was getting too bad. I can't-" kristen tried to scold her, but it wasn't really her forte. and she was interrupted by someone coming to their rescue anyway. alyssa had already slipped her hand away from the teen, and kris let out a sigh of relief as someone approached. finally, they can get some help... I just wish they had let me help as well. she looked at the older teen, finally feeling the effects of half-carrying someone through so much rough terrain. her muscles ached as kristen watched another girl around her age crumple to the ground. slowly, she led kita into the house and called out the name that the other teen had told her... michael. after screaming the name a few times, wheeler found a mostly-clean couch and helped kita onto it. silently, kris took off her bag and began to reapply the woman's bandages before dumping two more painkillers into her hand and giving them to kita. then, she looked around for alyssa before checking her wound. "come on, kiddo, come sit on the couch. i'm going to change that out okay? we don't want it all gross," she began, pulling her sleeve up so the kid could hold on, "let me take it away for just a second while I fix it up? please?" the teen knew it was a stretch: neither of them wanted her to be hurt that way, but she had to try. I need them to not pass out from the pain...

    ENJAMIN COOPER

indent the young man watched as the trio, including one of their own, walked past. their condition was much worse than his own, and ben wasn't sure he'd ever see anything like it again. they've been through hell and back, from the looks of it... he followed from a distance, watching until jazmine let them in. at that point, ben was in utter disbelief. he remembered seeing the young girl, alyssa, just the other day... was it yesterday? the day before? it was one of the two. benjamin snapped out as it as soon as they disappeared through the doorway. jessica! I just left jessica! suddenly, the scout began to stumble back in the direction he came, looking for his new friend.

sorry it's soooo short! didn't really know what to put for him, but I felt like I had to do something.

Biting her lip softy hearing his words. He needed 'David'. That name again why did it sound so familiar. Thought Riley couldn't worry herself about it to much right now. She had to help Mishka it was the least she could do. She frowned staring at his wounded chest. She couldn't help feel like she cause this. She knew she would continue to bring this up again and again. She nodded hearing his directions. "Don't worry Miska I'll go find him." She said softly knowing that they wound couldn't be heal with her flames or she would just end up boiling him alive. No she needed to do what he asked. She lifted herself from her crouched position. Shifting her bow on her back as she took a step, she didn't want to leave him there but she knew if she didn't move he would probably die. Mishka's directions weren't the best. Just on the second floor. Balling her hands in fists as she climbed up the steps. Getting to the top of the flight of stairs and started to move down the corridor, frowning before she just started to yell out for him."DAVID!"

Micheal Fitzgerald | cismale | twenty-five | defender | location; kitchen | tagged; cinder, kristen wheeler, kita, alyssa

He then shook his head at that and reached for the knife and turned the stove on, which when the flame appeared he placed the knife over it before grabbing a wooden spoon and looking at Cinder. "Just...l-look a-away," he instructed before placing the wooden spoon in his mouth between his teeth and biting down. With a muffled cry of agony, it was finished. He knew this was the only option left for him as it was moving too fast for stitches and cauterizing it would make sure he wouldn't bleed anymore.

Spiting the -- now broken -- wooden spoon out onto the floor, he shifted his weight to sit in a chair that was nearby. Wincing at the pain, he looked over at Cinder and cleared his throat a few times before trusting himself to speak. "I...I need some c-clean bandages, t-towels and any alcohol," he manged to say as he finally allowed himself to close his eyes, although they did flicker a bit when he heard his name being shouted. With a deep breath, he tilted his head in the direction of the voice. "In the kitchen!" he called back before feeling weak again as it took a lot of strength just to do that. I just need some magic thing to heal me, he thought wistfully to himself.

Rosaline Darling | cisfemale | eighteen | civilian | location; street | tagged; edmund fitzgerald

At his question, she quickly did a small blush as she was slightly taken by surprise, of course the good kind of surprise. Pausing a second to let him finish, she couldn't help a small light chuckle at his rambling before pulling out her phone, holding her earbuds in her other hand. "Edmund," she began with a soft smile dancing across her lips, "I'd be interested in trying to get to know you better too."

At that, she then looked up and realized where they were, which was the driveway of her house. "Here, she then paused her walking and handed him her phone to put his contact number. A small bit of worry wiggled into her stomach, but she tried to push it aside and allow herself to actually do this.

Lukas Polaski | cismale | twenty | peacekeeper | location; infirmary | tagged; kristian ludwig, uriel reese

As the doctor ordered him to wrap his injuries, he nodded his head in acknowledgement and grabbed some clean bandages near his reach. Saying a small 'thank you' to Uriel, he wrapped his forearm where that little freak clawed him. As he was wrapping it, he heard Reese's question. "A freak-looking fire fox and a stupid kid who turns into a tiger cub of all things," he spat out, as if just the words were bitter in his mouth.

As the doctor suddenly got quiet, he tried to look at what they were looking at before sitting back as he realized what they were talking about. Ludwig's arm was mangled, and even though he didn't really know many medical terms or conditions, he could tell that it was not going to be the same. That made him think back on his own injuries and he was rather thankful that none of them were that bad.

Phoebe Wheeler | cisfemale | sixteen | loner | location; forest | tagged; open

As she watched them go, she let out a small scoff at the pup. He's going to get into trouble...and it won't be my fault, she concluded to herself. Turning her attention away from where he ran off, she looked around the place she was in. It was a rather unfamiliar part of the forest and she honestly forgot where her little shelter was. Sighing to herself, the humanoid then adjusted the backpack on her shoulders and started her careful walk deeper -- or shallower, she didn't know -- into the forest to find somewhere she could set up a small camp.
