TARS "David" Stellar
20 yrs / Android / Male / Tags: Micheal
──────────────────────────
David nodded, knowing the instructions well. He was programmed long ago with those very same instructions on how to escape. He knew the best routes to take out into the cellar. He just never knew that one day he'd have to use them.
"Right.." he sighed, letting go of Micheal in order to look around. His blue eye kept glitching out, going red. Something was very wrong with his code. He was a learning computer, not a reactive one. He was having a hard time with this new experience.
"Make sure everyone is leaving right now. Head to the top of the building and work your way down. I'll take care of leaving no trace."
He nodded and let the man go, pointing to the stairs
"If you need any help, call on me or a caretaker."
The lights in the hallway began to flicker in time with the man's eyeball. David had full control of the electrical system in the house. He was to make sure they went dark.

Edmund Fitzgerald

Edmund stopped moving and watched her with wide eyes, unsure as to what she was getting at. She seemed a bit out of it, perhaps she was on something he didn't know of. The woman went back to grab a basket and he watched her. His eyes flicked back to the door they had entered and he spotted the peacekeepers outside. It was pretty scary to watch, which meant that they were on their way somewhere filled with humanoids. He felt a pang in his chest and suddenly began to worry for the safety of his brother and himself. He knew about the humanoids, he affiliated with one.
"Ohh dear.. something must be wrong.." he frowned while watching the peacekeepers walk down the street and out of sight. By then he turned back to shop, perhaps at a more quickened pace. But the woman looked to be in pain and he crutched over to her
"Are you sure you're alright?" he asked, leaning one crutch against himself and standing on the floor. It was a bit painful but he managed and gently put a hand on her back
"Do you need me to call somebody for you?"

Jazmine faced Heather full-on, and grabbed her firmly by the shoulders. "We can't think about that now. I need you to start with the fourth floor and work your way down. Trash everything. Go." She let go of the scavenger and stepped back, then waited for Heather to leave. Once she was sure the other girl was gone and doing her job, Jaz tossed a couple empty pop cans around the room, then moved on to the other rooms. It was slow going, every step punctuated by a throb of pain in her stomach.

Leelah stood and began pacing, panic and anxiety taking her over. She kept glancing up at the cellar door hatch, waiting for more people to come in.

Nathan shook his head. "Oh, no, I'm fine thanks." He glanced nervously over at the window, even though the peacekeepers were gone. "I hope it's nothing too serious. I've had enough drama for a week." He looked at Judith, and saw her fear. "Oh, don't worry, I'm sure it'll be fine. I'll be right back." Nathan went and served a couple more customers, and when his co-worker whispered to him that there was rumours of a huge fight about to go down with some humanoids, Nathan went white and returned to Judith. "Judith, there's some talk of.. uh, drama going to happen. I suggest you go home as fast as you can. It could be dangerous out there right now." Nathan didn't want the poor girl to come face to face with an angry humanoid in the middle of a fight.

She , adjusting the sleeves of her hoodie before she motioned her hands in sign. She continued to walk forward, turning her head ever so slightly, "Do... you hear something?" She turned to look at Jane, "It almost sounds like..." she said quietly trying to focus on 'said' sound, "Never mind," She shook her head and glanced back, behind them before focusing forward.
She looked around, observing her surroundings, which was something she automatically did when she went out somewhere she was unfamiliar with. Though, she glanced into front of her uneasily as she noticed someone causally walking the opposite way. Harley side-eyed the person as they glanced their way, once the stranger was out of ear-shot she grabbed Jane's hand in order to get his attention.

In the middle of their conversation, a sharp cry rang out in the air; it was the crows sounding alarm. Crowley froze as the calls grew louder and more numerous. The crows had begun to return to him; The murder began descending from the trees to surround him as they all cawed loudly, clearly agitated. "Hey, what's going on?" He quickly asked, one of them landing on his arm as he held it out. Upon being asked the question, all of them began screeching and cawing loudly as they apparently told him what was going on. As they shrieked, Crowley's eyes began to widen. "T-Thirty!? How close are they?" His voice quivered, and a frightened expression filled Lee's face. Thirty peacekeepers, all of them no doubt on a mission to capture everyone back at base.

The crows told him that a posse of them were close, but he could already sense it from here. Their blood was boiling hot, their heartbeats so vigorous he could hear it through their flesh. They were in a hurry, and they'd be here in minutes. "We've got to go. Now." He wasted no time grabbing Ezra's hand, and pulling him along. "There's thirty peacekeepers heading for our base and there's-" He paused, focusing for a moment, "-Four of them coming this way! Hide, quick!"

She watched him walk away and serve more people. Judith turned and grabbed another cookie before hearing him talk about drama and for her to leave. But she couldn't leave. She needed to know what was going on, if her friends were in danger. TARS. She instinctively grabbed her shoulder bad with TAR's book inside. She couldn't stay here, she needed to help them. "My home is that way." She hummed softly bitting her lip with her worried expression. She didn't know what to do, would it just be smart to stay up here. She didn't want cause more problems for everyone. She had the cookie in her hand and it slowly iced over. She looked down and her eyes widened. She thought she was getting much better then this. She frantically put it under the other cookies and then brushed her hands off. "Do you know where they are going?"

Jane continued on with her and blinked a few times. She had signed that she was alone mentally sometimes. It was a bit confusing to think about, he hummed and figured that sometimes he felt the same way. Though mentally he heard his own voice almost always.
He didnt quite see her signing of hearing something but noticed something was off. He turned his head a little and saw she had gotten upset and resorted to holding his hand. This surprised the man greatly, but he didnt deny the touch. In fact he tried to keep her calm and collected with him.
“Is something wrong..?” He asked softly, gently squeezing her hand and trying to look around to see what she had seen
“Did you see something?”

Echo - 17 - Heterosexual - Female - Single - Power: Hexes - Location: Forest - Tags: Tommy

Echo had her eye locked on the entrance of the cave when she saw Tommy shift over so that he was in front of her. She gave him a confused look at first but then realized he was trying to protect her. A few more shots were fired and then all went quiet. Echo breathed a small sigh, pulling her knees up close to her body. "It's okay." she whispered and rested her chin on her knees. "Thank you." she said after several moments of silence. She gave him a small smile her eye lids slowly falling closed. Knowing that someone had her back made it much easier to relax. She didn't have to be on guard 24/7. When even was the last time that that happened? Echo couldn't even remember now that she thought about it. Slowly yawning, she gripped her knees for comfort. It was normal for her to always sleep in this type of position. It always had made her feel less vulnerable each night. She'd always been a bit paranoid. Even more so when she was sleeping in a cave in the middle of the forest being hunted by peacekeepers. Echo took one last glance at Tommy before falling into a light sleep, her sides expanding and shrinking slowly.

(So sorry this is short. It appears I'm experiencing a bit of a writer's block lol. Was thinking we could possibly do a mini timeskip to when Echo wakes up if you wanted to include that during your post. Or you can make something happen before then. Up to you! ^^)

Kita - 20 - Heterosexual - Loner- Female - Single - Power: Kitsune Shifter, Spawn Fire - Location: Forest - Tags: Lucas

Kita pinned her ears back warily, ready to dart to the side when needed. Her eyes flashed red and her hands began to heat up. Squeezing her hands together, she forced herself to calm down. "I don't want to hurt you." she said slowly, the hair on the back of her neck standing up. He was aiming right for her heart. "Monsters?!" she cried, her voice almost hysterical. "They are children, being hunted by some strange man with a gun because they are different! She's only seven and you shot her! An innocent, seven-year-old girl who was only trying to protect me! Heck, we just met yesterday!" she was screaming at him now, trying to beat at least an ounce of sense into him. Peacekeepers just seemed brainwashed, believing every lie that the agencies told them. "I don't want to hurt you. But I will to protect those kids. No one should ever go through what I endured back at your "peacekeeper agency"." Kita suddenly heated up her hand and shot a small fireball straight for the gun in an attempt to disarm him.

Cinder - 18 - Heterosexual - Defender- Female - Single - Power: Conjures Animal Spirit Forms - Location: Lost Kid's Camp - Tags: Alexander

Cinder studied the kid for a moment before raising a finger to point in the direction of David. "At least go listen to what he has to say." she growled. This wasn't a fight she was going to back down from. In this situation, it was her way or the high way. "Go." she ordered and sneaked a quick glance at David. Cinder crossed her arms, waiting for Alexander to make his way back over to the leader. She still had so much to do and this was only putting her more behind. Cinder counted in her head as she thought about the various tasks that needed finishing. She still needed to go on another patrol to make sure no more peacekeepers were near. Mavis still needed another caretaker. They still needed to figure out what to possibly do about the peacekeeper with the ability. Her head was spinning and she took a deep breath to gather herself.

Nyx - 22 - Heterosexual - Peacekeeper - Male - Single - Location: Park - Tags: Kristen

Nyx listened to the two kids talk, completely silent. His gaze was still focused on the ceiling of the cave as they spoke. He had started to zone out when he heard the word "peacekeeper" again. Snapping back to reality, he looked at the two girls, chewing on the gauze as he did so. Another wave of pain started to sink in and he winced, clenching his hands until his knuckles were white. He groaned and started to lightly bang his head on the cave wall. The pain was starting to make its way up his leg as his adrenaline began to die down. At this point, he was absolutely miserable. In an attempt to distract himself, Nyx began to tap his foot on the cave floor. The sound of Alyssa crying made him look over to her. Despite the fact that she was a humanoid, Nyx couldn't help but feel the smallest bit of sympathy for her. She only looked to be how old? Six or seven possibly? Before he could continue the thought, Nyx snapped himself out of that mindset. They are humanoids. They can't be here. They are a plague to society.

    RISTEN WHEELER
    .tagged; nyx, alyssa
    .location; kita’s cave

indent kristen just stared at the little girl as she explained about the lost kids. “there... there’s a group of humanoids? living together?” she let out a small breath of amazement and happiness. the thought of having a home was overwhelming to the teen, as she hadn’t had a place to call home in years. “do...” the healer bit throught the pain, “do you think you could find it again if I helped you?” the teen had to wonder how the group had come to be, and how it was possible that no peacekeepers had discovered the home. “I miss my family, kris! I miss my friends! I hate being a humanoid!” kristen understood this comment all too well. she, after all, had the same thought many times before. “I know, kiddo. just trust me when I say that it gets better. you’ll never stop missing them, but at least you’ll learn to live without them. as for your friends? are you talking about the lost kids?” she paused, “i’m sure we’ll find them.” kris learned from an early age not to get attached. actually, she had made it a rule for herself after she and jess were separated. but something about this seven year old girl and the older woman whose home they were staying in just made kris forget about that rule altogether. maybe it was the way they put everything on the line to protect each other. maybe it was how they were in this together. the way kris and jess were before the incident in the convenience store. the lost kids... maybe jessica ended up there? maybe we can finally be back together?! kris tried her best to push that thought away for even a moment while she listened to alyssa, but it was difficult. jessica may wheeler was her best friend since birth. the two had been inseparable growing up, so it was no wonder kristen felt empty without her. “no, he can’t hurt us, and i’m sure kita is doing everything she can to lead the other one away,” the teen reassured alyssa, knowing full well she was trying to convince herself of it as well, “of course i’ll come with you, kiddo. I did say I wouldn’t leave you, after all!”

    .location; living room

indent ben watched, still keeping weight off his ankle as best he could, as the colossal wolf stared down at him. actually, it didn’t even look like she was looking at him, but more like she was watching the ground beneath him. to be honest, ben never really knew what he looked like when he fazed. he’d always just figured it was a solid picture of him, and not anything distorted. and he hadn’t even thought of what it might look like to other animals. “jessica? I know you’re in there... can... can you see me?” he questioned the wolf, already feeling fatigued. she probably can’t control the wolf very much... maybe I can just sneak back to the house? no, no, she’d definitely just pick up my scent... he sat there for what felt like an hour, studying how it sat with perfect patience. “jessica, just... flick your ear once if you can understand me, twice if you can understand me and see, and not if all if neither? maybe? we need to get back to the house sooner or later, but I absolutely cannot have you maiming people. that would be very not good...” the scout then muted his nearby sound and waited around two minutes to see if he’d get an ear-flick before trying to edge around the wolf and head back to the house. his energy was failing rapidly at this point, and the young man wasn’t sure he’d make it with a wolf on his tail. then came all the commotion. I thought I was farther from the house... but once ben realize what he was hearing, the frantic voices of his comrades, his heart started to beat a little faster. something is wrong... something is very, very wrong... he looked back at the wolf one more time before the scout took off sprinting, the adrenaline just barely keeping him moving. I have to see what’s going on... something is definitely wrong! they wouldn’t make so much noise if something wasn’t wrong!

her shifting was cut short when Ben had tried talking to her. A loud growling came from her chest as he stepped closer. She stood up on shaky paws and shook out her fur, standing tall afterwards. I can do this. she was trying to give herself enough courage to overcome the predator in her. Concentrating, she flicked her ear but by the time she did, he was already gone. i will focus hard. her claws dug into the ground and she took off after him. With a heart rate under control and a clear mind for once, she was moving faster and was thinking for once in the wolf form. Black shadows flowed off her fur, making her look like a shadow as she ran across the the tree line. With Benjamin in her sights, she ran up beside him and snapped her teeth lightly, gesturing to get on her back. Knowing he was injured, he wouldn’t make it far without help. She could smell peacekeepers all over the place. It wasn’t safe here but there were kids in there and they were defenseless.
Since CS made me change my signature because they didn’t like that my officer died for someone bad, I hope he finds rest while others hate him for doing his job and sacrificing his life.
