her body had stalked around the corners, carefully watching Benjamin till the little boy ran off after being scolded by a female. Her eyes followed the couple with a tilt of her head and as soon as they were out of sight, her eyes turned towards back to the male. Her maw opened up into a smile, showing her large canines. She started running at him and growled loudly when he ran away. you won’t get away.

She tracked him out into the woods. Unable to hear him but scents can’t be hidden so easily. With so many shadows to play with, they all mimicked her wolf form and a few mimicked her human form. Running behind trees, she could smell his scent getting stronger. Once it was at it’s stronger, it was contained to one spot. The wolf howled loudly and sat beside a tree, staring at the spot. He was able to go through things. Surely he would be in the ground. She was going to patiently wait him out. While waiting the shadows danced around her and when one of them had reached out to her, Jessica had reached back and started to phase back into a human. It didn’t take long to shift back but it was a lot of energy. Her body laid against the ground with ripped clothes. Her eyes were still of a wolf’s but there was no threat of changing again. With her palm laying open on the dirt, the large scar was visible. It extended from her pinky to her thumb near the wrist. The shadows seemed to be calm for the moment, sitting around Jessica. One shadow was very distinctive and look exactly like her wolf with very faint blue eyes.

Ezra glared back at Crowley, the only thing distinguishing it from a look of anger being the smile on his lips. "Ooooookaayy. I wasn't trying to be original or creative. I'm just saying, I could probably pick you up and just throw you if you got on my nerves too much. Then again you have those little demons with wings following wherever you go," At the mention of the crows Ezra looked around, hunching down a little as if he were frightened a crow would just fly down and start pecking his eyes out. Once he confirmed to himself that indeed wasn't going to happen, he straightened up and sighed, cocking his head in the opposite direction he had previously. "Say for some reason I do want to join your annoying little... party group thing," He paused for a moment, imagining how much he'd probably dislike anyone of Crowley's friends, and especially how they wouldn't like him. It wasn't that he was going to intentionally cause conflict necessarily; while Ezra knew he came off as rude more often than not, he really did want to start being nicer. One step at a time though I suppose. "...How would I even go about getting, like, initiated or whatever? Is there an initiation? Cuz if there is, that's kind of freaky. Sort of makes this all sound like a cult." Ezra didn't want to join the group in all honesty, but the excitement of running away was driving him to. He planned to use it as a sort of crutch just until he could get on his feet and get used to being fully alone.

Jane knew it was his first time out there in a very very long time. He was wearing black jeans, heavy lace up army boots and an olive green short sleeve with the white printed ‘Army’ on the chest. He too wore a jacket but his was dark grey.
He had hoped that throughout the entire trip she’d continue to sign to him so that he could keep up on the conversation. For now he read her lips and slowly nodded, trying to keep the flow smooth
They began their journey for the town, as it was getting dark and surely they’d be able to walk about without problem
“Yeah I’ve sort of just lived off of what people bring back. I’d go out but I’d be going alone and I dont like being alone.” He replied with a shrug, watching her with a soft smile
“Thats why I’m glad you’re coming with! It doesnt seem out of place for us to be seen together.”

Seeing the anger in Ezra's eyes only made Crowley light up with glee, but to his surprise, Ezra seemed to be reconsidering his offer from earlier. "Yeesh, you're way too paranoid; We're not a cult!" He laughed at Ezra's tentative curiosity. Lee could understand his reluctance to not get involved with a group of humanoids, if Crowley was still normal he wouldn't have wanted to either, but Ezra really needs to grow a backbone. "You just gotta meet with our boss and he'll take care of it from there." He began, "If he decides to let you stay, you'll be assigned a role. Like a scout, like me, or a scavenger or something. Or you could choose for yourself, that's fine too." Lee sighed before attempting to sooth Ezra's worries for a second time. "-And If you're still worried that we won't like you, don't be. As I'm sure you can imagine why, we don't really have the luxury to be discriminatory against each other."

the tall man was currently doing nothing. he was tired as usual and sitting on his own chair. he was lucky enough to call it his own. he was usually the one to stay in the home at all times, never going outside as he has fear of the outside world. he was currently knitting a scarf, but for no particular person. he enjoyed his time knitting such things for whoever wanted to claim it.

dhaval might have been going crazy the past few years, as his day was repetitive. it consisted of watching the non-functional t.v. and chuckling at it every so often while knitting. his eyes were usually dull, yet he seemed content and happy. hard to tell even for himself as he became relatively numb. "someone should be coming back soon.. i hope they bring back something nice." he said while gently shutting his eyes and putting both hands on his lap. he raised one hand and put it on his rosary that was around his neck and started to hum gently to himself. he was a bit detached. he was slowly getting more senile in a sense.

Echo had her eye locked on the entrance of the cave when she saw Tommy shift over so that he was in front of her. She gave him a confused look at first but then realized he was trying to protect her. A few more shots were fired and then all went quiet. Echo breathed a small sigh, pulling her knees up close to her body. "It's okay." she whispered and rested her chin on her knees. "Thank you." she said after several moments of silence. She gave him a small smile her eye lids slowly falling closed. Knowing that someone had her back made it much easier to relax. She didn't have to be on guard 24/7. When even was the last time that that happened? Echo couldn't even remember now that she thought about it. Slowly yawning, she gripped her knees for comfort. It was normal for her to always sleep in this type of position. It always had made her feel less vulnerable each night. She'd always been a bit paranoid. Even more so when she was sleeping in a cave in the middle of the forest being hunted by peacekeepers. Echo took one last glance at Tommy before falling into a light sleep, her sides expanding and shrinking slowly.

(So sorry this is short. It appears I'm experiencing a bit of a writer's block lol. Was thinking we could possibly do a mini timeskip to when Echo wakes up if you wanted to include that during your post. Or you can make something happen before then. Up to you! ^^)

Kita darted away from the cave as quickly as possible, trying to get an idea of where the peacekeeper was at. She clutched her shoulder firmly as she ran, blood starting to pour from the wound. Her heart was racing and she thrashed her tails nervously as she ran. Her cloak was back at the cave. There was no hiding her appearance now. It didn't matter though. Her shoulder was a dead giveaway. Kita looked to her right when she thought she heard the noise of another person. Her hand began to glow red as her adrenaline started to pump. She managed to calm herself down and the temperature on her hands dropped back to normal. Maybe it was possible she could reason with him. She didn't want to hurt anyone else. However, the thought of interacting with a peacekeeper armed with a weapon was terrifying. Kita made her way through the brush, wanting to get a visual on the peacekeeper. Eventually, she found him and halted dead in her tracks. She didn't want to reveal her location just yet. It was likely that he'd try to shoot her on the spot. Kita stared at the peacekeeper for several moments, frozen in place. It was either emerge from hiding and risk getting shot or possibly have the peacekeeper find those two kids. The thought of him harming either of the younger girls was what drove her to step out from the brush into view. She was a few feet from the peacekeeper, staring at him carefully. "Why... are you hunting children?" she said slowly.

Cinder studied the kid for a moment before raising a finger to point in the direction of David. "At least go listen to what he has to say." she growled. This wasn't a fight she was going to back down from. In this situation, it was her way or the high way. "Go." she ordered and sneaked a quick glance at David. Cinder crossed her arms, waiting for Alexander to make his way back over to the leader. She still had so much to do and this was only putting her more behind. Cinder counted in her head as she thought about the various tasks that needed finishing. She still needed to go on another patrol to make sure no more peacekeepers were near. Mavis still needed another caretaker. They still needed to figure out what to possibly do about the peacekeeper with the ability. Her head was spinning and she took a deep breath to gather herself.

Nyx listened to the two kids talk, completely silent. His gaze was still focused on the ceiling of the cave as they spoke. He had started to zone out when he heard the word "peacekeeper" again. Snapping back to reality, he looked at the two girls, chewing on the gauze as he did so. Another wave of pain started to sink in and he winced, clenching his hands until his knuckles were white. He groaned and started to lightly bang his head on the cave wall. The pain was starting to make its way up his leg as his adrenaline began to die down. At this point, he was absolutely miserable. In an attempt to distract himself, Nyx began to tap his foot on the cave floor. The sound of Alyssa crying made him look over to her. Despite the fact that she was a humanoid, Nyx couldn't help but feel the smallest bit of sympathy for her. She only looked to be how old? Six or seven possibly? Before he could continue the thought, Nyx snapped himself out of that mindset. They are humanoids. They can't be here. They are a plague to society.

Jazmine shook her head. "This won't change anything. David is valuable and responsible, he'll be a perfect leader." She opened her mouth to say more, when suddenly the door burst open, and Leelah spoke. Jaz went white. "Leelah, find a caretaker, tell them what's happened, and help get all the kids." Leelah dashed off. "Micheal, find David, tell him what's happened. Then do your job. Go, don't you dare wait for me." Jaz slowly sat up, then got to her feet. Once Micheal left, she tore up her bed and David's, and pulled out all the dresser drawers. She would have overturned the beds, but she didn't have the strength.

Leelah nodded vigorously. "Yes please! That would be awesome!" The two talked for a while longer, then returned to the lost kids' house. After they parted ways, Leelah snuck out and into the forest again. She wanted to practice scouting to impress whatever scout Mishka got for her. After a few minutes, she suddenly heard something. She quickly turned invisible, then made her way to the sound. Once she saw the source, Leelah turned and ran straight home. She clambered upstairs and burst into Jaz's room, interrupting a conversation. "They're coming!" She screamed, gasping for breath. "The peacekeepers, there are about thirty of them marching through the forest. They've found us!" Her eyes were wide and darting around wildly. After hearing Jaz's instructions, she ran downstairs and found Mishka. "Peacekeepers are coming, Jaz said to find you."
