seeing as though the cat burglar was now in the confused hands of the lawmen alexi felt as if his little hero expedition was complete. he got his fill of beating baddies and was ready to head back to his apartment ,, although he bet his sister would corner him and ask him many questions about how being superhero felt and he wasn't ready to be bombarded with her inquiries. turning his attention back to the cloaked woman ,, whom he now knew as archangel ,, alexi furrowed his brow at her statement. did she really steal life energy from people to keep her piles of bone animated? he figured it made sense in a way. her puppets would need a breath of life to be able to ,, well live ,, and to get that she would have to take some from someone who is alive. just as long as archangel didn't steal his life he didn't mind the creepiness of her powers. now unlike mist man ,, alexi took archangels offer for coffee as a sarcastic joke. mostly because she just seemed like the sardonic type. however mist man quickly took her up on her offer. while coffee seemed nice alexi wasn't about to walk into any place looking like something that just crawled from the pits of hell. turning on his heel alexi started to head back to his apartment ,, softly chucking as archangel shot down mist man.

hearing the sirens of police cars drawing closer to the destruction zella wondered how the police would react to a ragtag bunch of kids ,, and a bear ,, trying to take down a massive man causing mayhem in the street. it definitely wasn't something one would see on a daily basis. still ,, at least they were trying to do something to keep the destruction to a minimum and stop the crusher. although already there were a few dozen cars smashed and overturned ,, an army of dead casually sprawled about ,, the asphalt cracked and crumbling and bird boy made a pretty good dent in the nearby wall that he was thrown into. maybe they weren't the best heroes for the job. listening back into the conversation zella snorted as water boy suggested they minimize the damage. a little too late for that ,, don't you think? she commented as she gestured to the destruction around them. it didn't seem like it was possible to minimize the carnage anymore ,, if anything they would just be adding to it by continuing the fight. of course zella didn't mind making a bit of a mess ,, just as long as she didn't have to clean it up. slowly it seemed like a plan was forming and zella had confidence in her new comrades to execute the plan to the best of their abilities. i can't raise the dead again. i don't have enough energy to do so. zella informed electric girl whom she would call elektra. but as i said before i could hit him with a car! while it seemed improbable for the girl to lift a car zella had gained unhumanly strength that would allow her to easily lift a car and throw it. also zella really wanted to pelt the crusher with a few cars just because it seemed fun.

Nikita hoisted the boy over her shoulders. “Fireman’s carry. I’ve seen it on the news. I’m Nikita, by the way.” Unused to the weight, she shifted uneasily, nearly sending her cargo falling off her back. “It’ll be better once I get momentum.”
