Dakota looked up at the tan male blushing a bit from embarrassment not realizing how much she had really rambled until she saw the expression the man was wearing. She watched him curiously as he slowly let his wings fluff out. They really were beautiful. Her eyes slowly lit up as he spoke about himself being an angel. She couldn’t help but crack a smile at the sight of them. It really was quite a sight. She had never seen anything like it before. She took a small step forward leaning forward admiring them but being sure not to touch. “They’re beautiful,” She said softly mostly to herself but still loud enough for him to hear. She took a small step back as he spoke smiling the whole time. “I can see where you’re coming from. I’ve seen some crazy things already and I’ve just gotten here,” she said letting out a small laugh. “But I mean, I’m sure they’re not all that bad..personality wise, I mean,” she said shrugging a bit.

Philip couldn’t help but grin and feel a little bit accomplished as the giggle of the other boy met his ears. He gave him a small toothy grin. “Y-Yeah,” he let out reaching his right hand up rubbing the back of his neck slightly out of habit. He glanced at the boys hand slowly grasping it and giving it a small shake. “It’s nice to meet you, Ryler” he said stretching out the boys name as if he was trying to pronounce it correctly. “I’m Philip.” He smiled brightly at the boy giving him a quick look up and down. He couldn’t help but admit to himself that the other male was rather cute. “You’re a new exchange student right?” He asked.

Philip couldn’t help but smile a bit at the red color that rose in the smaller males cheeks. cute... he thought to himself only for his smile to grow a bit. “That would be you,” he repeated before taking small step towards him grinning a bit. “So...” he drew out, “is there anything you might need?” He asked. “Directions anywhere, help with homework, perhapes a very nice guy to walk with you to the assembly?” He said with a small, almost nervous, smile.

he listened carefully to cory's advice. the man had his fair share of experience and taj didn't take that lightly. if he was going to plan the first party of the year, he was going to do it right.
"so we head in to the assembly, sit near an exit, and then leave when we get a chance. doesn't seem too complicated" the merman pondered aloud. all he had to do was sit near the exchange students. not a peasant thought, but there were worse things to have to do, and sitting through that assembly was one of them.
"its settled then. im planning this thing. probably in my dorm, unless either of you know someplace better. you can help me set up, or you can just show up later; its up to you."
if he didn't plan it, who would? plus, if he is in charge, he gets to meet people and that was his goal.

she was taken aback by the straightforward compliment, but tried her best to ignore it. liza didn't really like to let others in on how she felt about things. it was a habit she'd picked up early on and held onto for a long time. when he said his name, she couldn't help but look up.
"jackson..." she repeated thoughtfully. "my name's elizabella." pretty much everyone called her 'liza,' but she liked to give people the option to call her whatever they wanted.
when jackson asked about her book, the witch subconsciously clutched it a little tighter, simply nodding her head in response to his question. she went back to reading, but noticed that the boy didn't leave. she felt a smile creep onto her lips. maybe this year would be a little different after all.

Erik gave a chuckle. "Hold your enthusiasm. This little eyesore will keep you dry and it has benches," he said before he crossed the rest of the way to the gazebo. He plopped down on a bench and pulled out a small metal bucket from underneath the bench. Originally, it was a decorative bucket with some sports team logo on it but that had long since worn away. He set it out in front of him as far as he could comfortably reach and flashed a small smile at the girl. "It's got all kinds of admenities," he remarked, even though it was his bucket and play sand he bought during a school break.

Alena stood in the line at the cafeteria. She stood contemplating on whether she wanted to get sushi or some sort of pasta.
